NAM Team, I discovered something about draggable viaducts

Many salutations, everybody!!!  As hinted at by the title, I have discovered something about what happens when a draggable viaduct is used to cross over an RHW when I was revising an avenue overpass earlier today.  The first screen capture shows the viaduct I am planning to revise composed completely of puzzle pieces except for the ones the RHW passes under.  Note the two RHW 6S -> RHW 4S transitions placed a tile away from the viaduct

The second screen capture shows that I have placed the OST for the avenue on both sides.  I have had demonstrated that SC4 will have a conniption if the tile immediately adjacent to the OST is not left vacant.

The third screen capture shows that I have cleared away the RHW so I can draw my avenue viaduct across without SC4 thinking that I want to draw the avenue at grade with the RHW.  Guys, let me tell you ... it is a pain to have to delete those two networks in order to correct that mistake.

The fourth screen capture shows that I have successfully drawn the avenue across the RHW and convinced them to live in harmony.  Now it is here that I wish to point out something to the NAM Team:  If this had been a RHW-8S or a RHW-10S that was being crossed over, the portion of the draggable viaduct over the inner part of the RHW would drop down to 7.5 meters above the highway which looks absolutely horrible and forces me to use the applicable puzzle pieces if I want to have the viaduct there.  NAM Team . . . if you wish to do away with puzzle pieces, this needs to be redressed.

Ack, I forgot to post step three (first screen capture here).  The second screen capture is when I add back in the avenue T-intersection.  If it were the +intersection that is being placed, the correct orientation would not matter that much as long as it is in line with the viaduct; still with the T-intersections, it does.  NAM team, please work to make draggable viaduct intersections possible.

The finished product is the final screen capture.  What do you guys think of this highway interface?

This screen capture is what I really wanted to show you, NAM Team.

I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but the NAM Team has its own dedicated subforum for bug reports, development updates, etc. (located here; note the existence of other, more specialized forums within it). Your issues with various NAM components would be much more visible to us if posted there. It would also help if you uploaded your images somewhere and included them in the body of your posts (both so they show up at full size automatically, and so that you can intersperse them within your comments).

That being said, the specific problem you've highlighted here looks to me like an override issue. I'll have to take a more in-depth look at the RULs governing the RHW and draggable road viaducts to figure out a solution.

Feel brand new. Be inspired.
