Would love to get maps for Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Darwin and Brisbane.

Please help :)

There should be quite a lot of high quality Australian maps on the LEX made by dobdriver. Do a power search and select his username.
Other creators such as blade2k5 have some slightly-lower-quality-but-still-very-good-nonetheless maps.
Also make sure to check what they have uploaded on the STEX too, since a lot of creators uploaded different creations on either exchanges.

BTW dobdriver = drunkapple on ST.

Thanks for your reply art128, much appreciated.

Did the power search and got about 7 Australian Maps, unfortunately they did not include the ones I wanted.

drunkapple/dobdriver is known for giving his maps elaborate and eccentric titles, so it may be possible to miss some.  I did find Darwin on the LEX here.  His catalogue over on the STEX is larger, IIRC, and he does also have some maps that are only on one of the two exchanges.  I did find the remaining five cities on the STEX.

He has a huge Brisbane map called "Bris Vegas".  Also, here's Perth, Sydney, Adelaide, and Melbourne.

For future reference, if you do need to search the STEX, the search function at Simtropolis is in really rough shape, so I usually use Google, typing in the search term, followed by site:community.simtropolis.com/files.  For my search of these maps, I typed in drunkapple site:community.simtropolis.com/files, and once I got to one of his files, I then clicked "Find their other files" under drunkapple's name on the download page.  The LEX does have a Google search option as well.

I may have forgotten to say that ST = Simtropolis, and STEX = Simtropolis Exchange.... The other big english SC4 fan site. May have been obvious for me, but for new users who are not accustomed with all the abbreviation t will be confusing. I apologize. :)
Luckily Alex linked you to a few maps from him. :)

Really appreciate the reply art128 and the links, many thanks indeed. I played SimCity many years ago and had heaps of stuff on an external hard drive which died unfortunately. Am just getting back into the age, to help the old grey cells going :)
