Unfortunately, that's the fault of the games orthogonal view (squashing effect).  The top of the trailer is 5m; the bottom of the opening is 6m, so there's approximately 39 inches clearance even though it doesn't appear that there is. :D

Pat

so you will have to make a sign big enough saying "LOW CLEARANCE" lol

I'd be more worried about the locomotive, personally...  :D

This is going to rock.... could you make it multiple lots that get pieced together? there is a lot of empty space there that I'd like to put a railyard in....
The most astounding and unique aspect of the human race is our fervent application of our ingenuity to kill each other, thus completely defying the near-universally proven fact that the ultimate goal of a member of a species is to ensure the survival of the species.

This has got to be one of the most thought out, most complete and extremely large factories I think I've seen created. What spectacular work!

Thanks folks, we appreciate your comments.  I took a short break to play the game, but it didn't last. :D  I saw this building on a friend's model RR, and thought it looked cool, so I BATted it yesterday and finished the lots today.  It's now in testing, and barring any show-stoppers, will be at a LEX near you soon. I've named it Moore Transfer and Storage.  :P  Cheers!

Love it! The docks in particular caught my eye.

Also, I've been watching the development of the VW plant in amazement - you guys are doing brilliant work  &apls

Back to europe ;D

Thanks Fukuda, I'm glad you like it.  Earlier, I was playing the game, happily plopping canals and associated lots and noticed that I was running out of stuff and would need to start using duplicates.  I'm not a real fan of duplicates in my cities, so I started a new building to add to my canal collection. :D  This is loosely based on a pic of a sugar warehouse I picked up on the net.  The real building is somewhere in Great Britain, I believe.  Cheers!

BigSlark

jestarr,

I really like both of your new buildings, and not trying to be insulting in any way at all, they aren't "flashy" BATs that stand out, they blend in with everything else that you, Gascooker, and others have created for a very realistic looking industrial area.

Keep up the great work!

Cheers,
KEvin

That looks like it'll work well with CAL's remastered Goober canals. I keep meaning to use them in my cities, I need to do that tonight!  :D

Okay, I have sent back all of Jestarr's files for Moore Transfer and Storage to him. Here's what is going out with it:

And yes, the rear lights at the top of the back door are lit, in case anyone is wondering why I shot the back end. The Lots will produce 3 of these when they first appear and then only 1 per day to replace the ones that disappear. The truck will also appear at random in your freight traffic when the files are installed.

You are too awesome.  Even while working on an already incredible project you find time to throw out another great piece of work.  Great job on the Moore Transfer and Storage building!
