Hey all, could somebody make the following SimCity 3000 buildings? They are all listed in the order I would desire them the most

1. These four buildings

^High-density high-pollution dirty buildings, I would love to see these in SC4.

2. Muck factory

^This HUGE factory generates HUGE amounts of pollution. I assume it manufactures muck. UPDATE: Orange Julius AKA Livinginthepast is currently working on this...

3. Toxic waste plant

^You would get this as a business deal only when your city's economy was in the gutter. Generates lots of money, but with a "small"(Read: HUGE) impact on the environment.

Hope this isn't too much...  ()testing()
And what do you think you're doing looking at my signature?

:D lol m8, I've just noticed... our nicknames r just the same, apart, of course, from the fact that mine is in portuguese (William=Guilherme, Willy=Guiga, and 88 well... is 88, and yeah, those factories would look great on SC4.

My other picture requests are not coming in. In other words, I'll give your ideas a shot. Don't expect über-details, though, I'm only a beginner. Feel free to drop me a PM about things.

Well, I would tend to disagree. BATs have been improved a lot since SC3000 was released. I'm sure people won't like these, as they aren't "realistic" enough for SC4. These look incredibly grimy, dirty (sure they are "dirty" industry), and their smokestacks and some mechanical parts are too oversized. Esp the Muck Factory looks absolutely unrealistic. SC4's "dirty" industrial buildings look much more realistic, and these will definitely look out of place in SC4. One might consider BATting them only as "design derivatives"; he should at least change the proportions a lot (so much that they migjt end up unrecognisable).
Instead, SC3000 has some 1x1 dirty and manufacturing industrials, which look rather better, and can prove useful as fillers.
Sorry, but if you search the STEX (there aren't such buildings on the LEX), you will find very few SC3000 buildings (I have made an "Incinerator"), despite the pool of former SC3000 players (still quite large) - I think because of the reasons mentioned above.

Orange Julius

Still, though, Muck Factory looks good enough. Like I said, I'll give it a try.

If you want, you can hijack this thread to post the latest updates....
And what do you think you're doing looking at my signature?

Orange Julius

No, but you can give me everything on Muck Factory...multiple zooms, different angles, everything.

Well, here's the other side of the beast:

That's the second closest zoom level; if I were to zoom in any closer, it would look pixelized.

Unfortunatly, I seem to have problems at launch (as in, I can't BAT...never tried) I'll attempt this building. I'll try my hardest, but if it comes out like crap, please don't blame me too much. Out of curiousity, why do you want these buildings so much? I'm not trying to be rude, but is there a specific reason?

The most astounding and unique aspect of the human race is our fervent application of our ingenuity to kill each other, thus completely defying the near-universally proven fact that the ultimate goal of a member of a species is to ensure the survival of the species.

Nostalgia, and the fact that SC4 by default doesn't have any really tall, mean-looking industrial buildings.
And what do you think you're doing looking at my signature?

XiahouDun

Once I get things worked out on my computer, I may try them. Maybe a little different to update them into SC4 style.
Current project: Movies 14

You may have meant to search for Houdini. (result of searching for XiahouDun on SC4D)

Orange Julius

Just to know, the Muck Factory is at the back of my list. Frankly, this might be quite hard. I would have distort it and whatnot to make more SC4-ish. So I'll see what I can do, but it is NOT a guarantee.  &mmm

I like the petrol plant myself.
Yep, was always the first thing I tried to grow and make historical! Always had a couple of these if I could get them down by the seaport... REALLY big refineries or even smaller lots that could grow together would be excellent ID additions.

Ditto for me :)
