SA that last pic is brilliant! I love that huge hotel, or did it grow in Ensenada?

AK great pic once again. I like that 2x3 sandy patch on the left side. It looks like one of those not yet developped areas.

Giligone. Great suburb very tranquil. One remark, I would not dare speeding on that highway. Bumpy indeed try laying roads next to it to flatten it.

Masochist. Is it mo or just plain convenience to have an hospital next to a skateboard yard? (especially if you try to land your skateboard on the busstop next to it  )

Oooh, Alek, you've done a very good job in making your city look real gritty.

Looking at that last neck of land (just streets, no roads): aren't they (you know, those Ensenada Sims) complaining like hell?

Hehe. Nah, they don't complain. Traffic isn't too bad because pretty much everybody uses mass transit.

The hotel's actually plopped - it's too big to be a "normal" growable...

Brackenfell's map. It's the size of a standard region (in other words, 4x4 large tiles... I think I stuffed up what the scale was supposed to be, though...). By the way, the image that's marked 2.01 in my last post is probably one of my favourite suburb images. It's turned out really well.

I'm having problems with Greater Midlands (area south of Brackenfell), mainly due to the fact I'm not satisfied with downtown and I need to better define the suburban boundaries of Greater Midlands (it is a huge area, taking up much of the inner section of Ensenada).





I will tell you this: all five cities of Ensenada have a different soul and charm. Greater Midlands doesn't have as much tree cover as Brackenfell, but has huge amounts of land taken up by suburbia, usually in a rectangular grid closer to the city centre, becoming subdivisions as it moves closer to both Ensenada and Brackenfell.

Oh, no, it's for the patients...you see, when they see some over-zealous boarder try and pull a 720 Madonna off of a kicker with no pads or helmet, it makes the fact that they can't move their arms or neck a little more bearable...

  I cry when looking at that marvellous region pic of Ensenada! I realy REALY love the way how you laid down the farms (sorry maby wrong forum) The curved way those fields grow along The Savannah Way. Very nice.

Suburbia is huge!! Love it. Envy it.
Great map you made, makes looking at the region map even moer fun.

Any chance of seeing Ensenada or one of your next projects here at SC4D?

Okay, as a noob I am going to probably get a big duh after this but... how do you guys all have such uniformity in your houses in the suburbs? I have read around and I thought that plopable residental doesn't work. Please enlighten me as my suburbs look messy.

Well I have been playing around with lotting the last month or so.  I have finally created enough lots to start playing around and seeing how they will look together.  Every residential lot in this picture is a homemade custom lot by me using models from those on STEX such as SG, RP, DT with many more on the way.

A small suburbs. I played with the SFBT low wealth park & sorchin rocks

The only thing which could make it perfect is not to use those high wealth grass textures on the right sidecompared to the SFBT lots they stick out like a lamp in a moonless night.

@niknik  I do use NAM, that pic is in a test city where the only thing I have in my plugins right now is the lots that I have made and the prop packs I used in the lots.  Everything else right now is vanilla so I can make sure the lots grow.  Oh and I have the No Maxis Mod by DT that removes all Maxis Res buildings.  I will get around to C and I lots one day, But I want to get all my R buildings done first.  And thanks for the nice comment.  For sure when I get everything made you will see pics that fit nicely together and use NAM
