@shanethemain,

I must say your picture is very interesting - well composed on the peninsula along the main road, and these skyscrapers look great on the white  sand background  &apls If your competitor would be a bit worse, I would vote for you  :thumbsup:
But there are a few little unfinished things on your picture - this yellow pause frame, and concrete surfaces from the Japanese waterfront set (left side of the picture) look strange if they are not connected with anything but surrounded by sand without any access

So my vote goes to Chrisadams

2-1 Chris

Hey thanks for the kind words, Ennedi!! Coming from you, that is high praise indeed, as you are truly a master at creating beautiful screenshots and CJ's!

And also thank you for the constructive criticism! As I tend to do more eye-candy cities by plopping (which still takes tremendous time and skill), I have to leave the game on pause. I thought there was a way to get rid of that ugly yellow outline (without un-pausing obviously), but I cannot seem to find anything on that now. Do you have any suggestions? Also, as for the Japanese waterfront set pieces, my intention was to make it appear as though the people have to walk across the beach to get to them. Where I live, there are many boat docks and fishing piers that are not connected by road, but only by footpath access. So I was simply using that as my model/inspiration.

In any case, I fully realize the pic is rough around the edges. I never tend to post any images, so I'm not as adept quite yet at all of the photoshopping/presentation aspects as I need to be. But since there was an opening (I always catch it at the wrong time), I figured I'd go ahead and try it out just for the heck of it. I mean, it is all just in fun... (btw, I am huge fan of Chris' pic! Chris---its totally fantastic!)
