So I downloaded the "modern house pack" and installed all 4 houses. Problem is they don't show up in game play. How can I fix this?

A little more information would help. Which modern house pack? When you say they don't show up do you mean they grow as brown boxes? If you mean they are not in a menu then you have to wait for them to grow.

Well I got them in the BCS, and this is the link http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=394When they grow, they look like house-sized card board boxes. And they aren't in a menu either.

It would appear that you did not read either the description or the Readme as the first dependency is:
QuoteMattb325_PropPack_Vol01.dat (HERE ON THE LEX essential to avoid brown boxes)
Please make sure you have ALL dependencies especially ones marked as above.

Ok, thank you very much.

[edit]: well I looked for them...and I'm having a hard time finding the prop packs ()what(). I used the Dependancy help section and they're not listed there, and I don't really feel like looking through every page of prop packs just to find this one ( and I looked at about 5 pages so far). Is there another search feature I'm not seeing?

[re-edit]: I guess I found the first dependancy, but it didn't have the same name. I really need a search feature where I can just type in what I'm looking for. I cannot find prop packs (like "CP_PropPack_Vol01.dat") or they have names different than how they are listed (eg the mods say one thing, but the files is called another). I even searched by designer, and have found little to nothing.

Honestly, I just want help finding these files so I can get back to playing SC without boxes &mmm.
Sorry if I seem ignorant, I'm new to this modding sc4 thing (NOT to SC). :)

Usually, the zip file containing your bat has a html file with all the dependencies listed (with links). The .exe usually open a page with a ling to all dependencies.
So look for your bat instead of the prop packs. It will be faster.

CP Prop Pack Vol 01, is in the List, under a slightly different name:

BSC Prop Pack Cycledogg No 1

M4346

That file has actually been updated to BSC MEGA Prop Pack CP Vol01 -> Click!

The zip on the LEX has 4 zips in it. Each zip has the installer for the lots plus a loose Readme. Each of the Readmes has a linked dependency list. Occasionally packs have been updated as the BSC Prop Pack Cycledogg No 1 has been but generally the links will take you to the required packs. I have updated all the links i n the 4 Readmes and attach them here in a zip.
