A fantastic update and great teaser pic.  Your industrial area is great, can we get more shots of that area.  Maybe a little higher so we can see more, please.  And the picture you called "a shipping facility", where did you get it?  I don't reconize it.  Great work, all in all.

Lots of awesome work, Travis!  I like the boardwalk... that's a great screenshot    It's fun to see how your picture editing has progressed... I remember how mine went: nothing, to a soft edge, to a minimal edge, to whatever struck my fancy  :P

I'm curious to know where you picked up that football field in the last pic of your last big update.
You're telling me I get to be home for more than 12 months?

Ennedi

The teaser looks very nice, Travis - I am curious what you will create here  :) (I hope you are in good health yet )

I really need to get with it, don't I?  ::) Haven't had a good sized update since, like September or so.  :P

I have a little side project going at the moment. Just couldn't resist taking advantage of all the good airport stuff coming out lately. ;)

The Northwest Airlines terminal...
Pictured on the left: Boeing 757's, DC-10's. On the right, Boeing 747's.

The Asian Terminal...
Pictured on the right: Lockheed 1011's. On the left: Boeing 767's.

...and the American Airlines terminal...
Pictured on the right: Boeing 757's. On the left: MD-11's.

I'll be getting back to our current region soon- I've got some new stuff planned.

...And this time, it won't take two months...

Later.

bat

Great to see a new update!

And wonderful pictures of that airport and airplanes!!
Also looking forward to more...

Haljackey

Wow!  Nice airport!  I like how each airline has its own terminal, very realistic for many major airports.  Also, you have wonderful photoshopping skills creating those neat night photos.

I will continue to follow your MD.  Awesome job so far!

Update time!

@bat, thanks bat!

@Hal, Thanks! 8)
QuoteI like how each airline has its own terminal, very realistic for many major airports.
Indeed. Most people just plop a ton of random airlines on each concourse. I wanted to take a different approach. ;)
QuoteAlso, you have wonderful photoshopping skills creating those neat night photos.
$%Grinno$% That's actually a mod that makes nights darker. Believe me when I say it, my photoshop skills are awful.  :P

...and here come the pictures...

Let's start with a mosaic.  :)
From 8th Avenue (top) to US 37 (bottom).

The beach...

More beachside homes.
Going North-South is 3rd Avenue. Going East-West are 2nd and 4th Avenues.

This part of town is one of the most desirable areas in all of Phillipsburg County. A place to live here doesn't come cheap.
Going North-South is 5th Avenue. Going East-West is 4th Avenue.

More tightly-packed neighborhoods.
Going North-South is 7th avenue. Going East-West is 6th Avenue.

An area around the 9th Avenue Church.
Going North-South is 9th Avenue. Going East-West is 4th Avenue.

A good-sized overview. If you haven't noticed yet, odd-numbered streets run north-south, perpendicular to the coast,
while even-numbered streets run east-west, parallel to the coast.

A random night scene...

...

...

...

...and closing out, here's a quiet night scene of Central Park.

Next update's in the works. Hope to see some comments. :)

Later.

great work travis.... the night shots are really realistic, nice work with the sam too, shame about some of the missing textures. i know you have probably been asked this a million times but what houses are they you are using....
NAM + CAM + RAM + SAM, that's how I roll....

flame1396

Lovely houses. Would look awesome if you were to manage to make a lot that faked a T intersection with the house lots (to make it look connected while its basically a TE'd street tile with a texture of a T intersection)
The most astounding and unique aspect of the human race is our fervent application of our ingenuity to kill each other, thus completely defying the near-universally proven fact that the ultimate goal of a member of a species is to ensure the survival of the species.

thundercrack83

Welcome back, my friend!

Beautiful update, too! I love the small town neighborhood feel and the coastline! I'll be looking forward to seeing more of your work!

Travis: that Northwest Terminal is making my heart pound quicker... I love it.  Of course a NW  hub would have had some more DC10's....
