I thought I'd enlighten those of you who are not familiar with the Chartres Cathedral as it appeared in SC3K(U)...

I rest my case. Debussyman is finally doing this beauty justice.

Very good and you work fast with class! Yeah, the little part missing backside the cathedral with brown roof...And if you want i can take pictures of the "arc ange" ( statue) in backside...

Well, Chartres is (almost) complete. It is just missing a correct rendering of the night time (I keep getting errors ). So it might be uploaded any time soon.

Meanwhile, here's another Cathedral for you to guess. Might not be as easy as the previous, since this time I'm starting by the choir. (hint: might be relased on Jan 6, in time for it's own festivity  )

Doesn't matter really'.. anything you make is great.

One question: you resize your models in z-direction before rendering? I remember back in the days of the gmax BAT release by Maxis that someone mentioned his resizing to fix propotions in the game 3D-projection. I just can't remember by which ratio, so currently It's just trial and error until it looks good. Not that your BATs need it by the way... but if you do happen to resize I'd like to know by which amount..
