Stunning mosaic, nedalezz! See there, it wasn't so difficult after all was it? All you have to do is take about 50 photos then spend all afternoon finding the best three or four and splicing them together! :D

Until next time...
Joan

UPDATE TWENTY-TWO
UNIVERSITY OF LIBERTY ISLANDS IN QUMMA

The 7th Year marks the official opening of the University of Liberty Islands in Qumma (ULIQ), making it the very first center of higher learning in the history of the country. With close ties between the QEC and LI having developed, investment has been pouring in from the small North Atlantic country, the largest of which has been its contribution to Qumman education.

Costing nearly $60 million upon completion, the investment was funded 100% by the LI, with 20% of revenue going to the QEC per year. The administration of ULIQ will be made up of both Qummans and LI citizens, with the latter being able to bring over as many employees as it so chooses. The headmaster is always of LI nationality, and the curriculum will follow the LI educational system.

The university is made up of two main buildings, and surrounding the buildings are the student housing, built in typical LI architecture, with each townhouse accommodating between 40-60 students. Initial registration for the university was recorded at 530, the same number of Fursan's population just 7 years ago. ULIQ offers diplomas, masters, and PhDs in nearly every general field; the only thing lacking is further education in the field of medicine and health. However, it features the complete educational range for business, arts and sciences, engineering, and law. It also has its own football field, which will become the home of Fursan FC.

ULIQ will be the first of its kind in the entire region, and will surely attract students from all over the western coast of Africa. As such, accommodation in the student housing has been generous, with the university able to hold up to 4,000 students, and able to cater to up to 7,500. It is expected to become the focal point of all education in the country, and hopes to become the educational center of the region as well.

Hi Nedalezz,

Nice couple of updates.  Great first mosaic that really sums up Fursan residential living.

And I like the way that the LI university is so different from the rest of Fursan but your explanation and execution makes it fit in real nice.  That is a fantastic main university building - I am very impressed.  Many of the student accomodation buildings are also seen in West End, so any students from here will feel verymuch at home.

And I'm glad to see the mighty Fursan FC have their own permanent home at last ;)  Hope they have a good trophy cabinet installed!

bokrif

Nedalezz, you did a great job! The ULIQ campus looks stunning, nicely laid out, and really good idea to incorporate that kind of housing.
I say Stunning.

=======
The government of Liberty Islands would like to express its satisfaction because of the succesful construction of the University of Liberty Islands in Qumma.
The Governor-president of Liberty Islands, Ferenc Hatvany, would like to attend at the official opening ceremony of the ULIQ.
The ULIQ will have an office in Szabadrév too.

Very cutting-edge university, nedalezz, but knowing your unique style, the design surprised me only for a moment.
Actually, I decided to revisit page 12, post 229 when you first introduced the university site.
That was an exciting time in Qumma's development when diplomatic relations were being established with West End and Liberty Islands. Berber Dawa's new residence was finished, and the West End Cultural Center shined like stars in the night.
Now you have followed up with another stunning update, complete with more stars in the night (which you know I love!)!
Good job.

Until next time...
Joan

Wow wow wow , chapeau bas !!

The past updates are awesome, the mosaic horribly awesome ! and now the ULIQ ixs simple but yet effective ! nice choice of buildings ! fits perfectly in Qumma !

nedalezz

Right, First things First: HUGE APOLOGIES for the lack of updates! I have just arrived in Beirut after 5 days in Dubai for business, and I have a few days of relaxation here before heading over to China, then back to Dubai for yet more business. I will definitely get an update in, possibly two, before I travel again. As for now, here are some replies:

Yoman: Thanks! Traders and businessmen have been very excited about the new Fursan Seaport and the potential it could possibly fufill. And once the port has been completed, the QEC will want to talk about a further venture with the PSSO..

Jmouse: Your words are soooo flattering! The mosaic was aloooot of work, but I figure I might have gotten the jist of it, so maybe it will be easier next time around. And Im really happy you liked the university; I know you enjoy a certain fanciness and customization to your civic lots, and I hope this one impressed you.

thundercrack83: Thank you. Im glad the response for the mosaic was so well received!

bat: Thank you! And thank you for always being there with your encouraging words after every update!

suplado!: Oh wow! You are definitely one of the kings of desert MDs/CJs; Ive been following Jargeah on Simtropolis for a while now and was so glad it came to SC4Devotion. The fact that this MD gets your thumbs up definitely means alot to me. Hope you keep stopping by.

Pat: Merci Beaucoup! Its good to see you back following the MD!

sEAhAwk fAn121: It was great talking to you in the chatroom! Thanks for the great compliments; Im glad you like the pace of the MD. I find that if I go to fast, I lost touch with the region and the cities, and they become generic to me, with no culture almost.

paroch: From what Ive heard, the ULIQ has already begun its student exchange program with several universities in West End, and indeed there can be up to 70 students from West End found on the ULIQ campus, with that number expected to double next year. Im glad you liked the update!

BoKriF: Considering the main donor for the University of Liberty Islands in Qumma was, incidentally, the Liberty Islands, it means alot to have been given your full approval. I hope I did a good job trying to recreate LI housing on the campus.

pipisphere: Lol, you are now addicted, and I will try my best to keep your fix going! Thank you for the compliments!

urban: Thanks! Im really glad the university was deemed a success; I have to admit, it took a while to get it to look like something I would be happy with.

warconstruct: Ah yes, the Photoshop effect! I cant tell you how much I love it, lol. Thanks for the kind words.

nova vesfalo: Another master of the game comments on my MD! Thank you for the very kind words, and I love your MD. I hope you pass by more often!

iamgoingtoeatyou: Thanks! Its a huge honour for me to have made it to Classics; it means so much.

Ennedi: If Doctorates were ever given out for SimCity, you would be Dr. Ennedi, the SimCity Master. Your replies are always met with huge anticipation by me, and I love the constructive criticism/compliments you give. It would be an absolute honour for the QEC to develop diplomatic ties with Shosaloza, and I am very much looking forward to the new developments taking place there. Thank you for your incredible words of support.

Shulmanator: Its all about the monkeys! Your MD is the funniest; I love your updates! Thank you for the compliments.

Hi Nedalezz,

You sound busy.  Good luck with the travelling and I'm sure in true SC4D fashion the next update will be ready when it's ready ;)
