A problem has arisen in Everglade a lack of city funds has caused a huge cut in funding for city clinics, schools, and other civic buildings.

The largest cut in funding was at the Broadveiw Medical Clinic. So much so that the workers there are on strike. This has occored in a poorer
area of the city, which dosnt help them much.

Something has to be done. City Hall is currently brainstorming solutions for this. One of the ideas is to slow down (not completly shut down)
work on the numerouse Everglade railroad lines currently under construction. This will slow down growth of the city for sure, but it may be
necisary to prevent..... ummm..... people dying

Recently at the courthouse, hundreds of citezens and news crews have been gathering to monitore a hored of lawsuits from "irresponsible"
operations. This is causing unrest in parts of the city. So far 116 people have died, who could have been saved if the clinics had the neccisary funding.

Not just the medical field is suffering from funding cuts, the police force is also suffering from tax cuts.

Thats all for today!
Untill Next Time!

(side note... this update earns the award for... Worst Update name EVA!!!!!!!!)

Turbin road is a small street which collects the two very close towns of Secrest and Littleton. Traffic on the street has increased signifintlyover the past few weeks due to rapid development in Turlbin Bay. The street, therefore must be upgraded to a road to handel all of it.

Due to the fact that this upgrade requiers no additional room, the road will only be paved over. How does this help? The road will be widened so the speed limit can be increased and also makes it so people driving on the road feel safe to drive faster, and the new pavement will last much longer.

The first area is the southern section of the street on the edge of Seacrest.

The street was repaved and a crappy little street light was built.

A bit further up into the farmland, you can see the large volume of traveling on the street.

So it was paved :)

On the North End of the road near Littleton, you can also see the large traffic volume.

So now the picture explains it all :P

The road is now complete....

And now Turlbin Road is no longer congested.

Around the Secrest Area

Here is Turlbin Cove, Seacrest was built around it, and Turlbin Island is located right next to it.

Turlbin Island currently has a problem the local ferry terminal built there serves as transportation to the island, however, all the residents who actaly need it do not have enough money to.

This is leaving most of the residents on the island no access to jobs.

Here you can see Littleton.

And here is Seacrest.

This is the Seacrest Ferry terminal. It is primarily used as transport to other small towns north of Seacrest, as well as rich folk from Everglade and Opium moving to a nicer and more rural area.

This is one reason. The cliffs around Seacrest are verry atractive, and experts say that in about a year this will be all wealthy residents.

Gertion Park was the first city-funded park in Seacrest. It was built in the middleish of the city at the time, and is still on a heavely travled road.

Here you see 4 of the 8 mansions in Seacrest. This area was farmland 1/2 a year ago, and nothing was there ecept the mansions. When the town grew around it, it wasnt desarible to the new immigrants, so most of the area was developed pretty poor.

Thats All For Today!!!
Untill Next Time!!!

emgmod

How long did that road take to upgrade? Also, I believe one of the mansions you showed in the last pic is going to appear on CSGdesign's NG.

marsh

emgmod: It took a month to complete all the paving. The construction was done at night to prevent any traffic jams also. And yes, it was built by an immigrant from Boston who wanted to live in that house, but didnt want to wait that long for the canal estates to be completed. ;)

Awesome pics there I love the rural scenes, the region view also looks very realistic!!

Wow, thats a huge update. Healthcare is one of the most important things there is, and with people dying, it really needs a quick solution.

I love the update about the street :)

marsh

penguin007: thanks!

nedalezz: thanks man. I like to throw in a bunch of random pics with my updates, so some of my updates will be big  :)
