c-dodolez-man: There is probably a reason you never thought of them  . Still, perhaps you can find some inspiration here.

sebes: It is better with an MD, when you can follow it from beginning to end.

Update 5: The Last Out of Southern Hills

This will be the last you'll see out of Southern Hills for quite some time. After this, we will be moving forward in the past to Alphopolis.

An odd arrangement makes itself known in Southtown:



There is too much weaving, and yes, I did download the HRS mod.

And, yet more weaving with Maxis T's. One of them leads into a large intersection -- very prone to backing up freeway traffic:



Now I'd probably remove all those interchanges and put one large one there -- perhaps a paperclip, a parclo, or even a double paperclip (is there such a thing?).

And here is an early suburb -- rather inefficient, but good for a first try:



And here is a wierd avenue connecting to a OWR roundabout (why didn't you think of the avenue roundabout, PM?):



Lastly, a picture of an avenue underpassing the mini-suburb, with no cars on it:



Now I'd rebuild that thing and make it into a diamond.

<<MD Indefinently Deactivated>>

This MD is less than 2 weeks from being moved to the Inactive section, and I do not expect to be updating it in those two weeks. This MD is now Indefinently Deactivated, due to lack of time to update.

I like this MD, and would update it if I had the time, but it is constrained and I need to prioritize my projects, and this is on the lower end of that list.

The status does not exclude reactivation later, and that is why I'm not formally closing it.

Thanks for your encouragement, I'm sure it will continue at a later time.
