You've got a great initial style there, but yes you're right about needing a few more touches.  In my experience, a large plaza like that would have a small handful of vendors of various sorts, particularly if it's near a tourist attraction or major government facility. 

One solution would be to create a one tile filler lot that has either a prop family or several with a diversity of different extra touches to add some more activity to your plaza.  It really is a great start though!

Yes, finally! I have reached the Best Sellers selection. And to be honest, I feel honoured to have my MD in this section now.
