I love it when my stuff gets the CSX twist....and as a thank you I have made some alterations to it, just for Colyn.  Hopefully he will work his magic on it and it'll appear here soon

These threads are like watching artists like Da Vinci, Picasso, Rembrandt and Monet paint.
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it

Well done Colyn, great additions.

You (Colyn) make waterfront lots look so attractive that half my city is now shoreline.

Colyn

And you (Couchpotato) inspire me many times to make more ...  &hlp

It has been a while and I found some time to work on my Region a bit.

Here are some shots from Sabenza ... B4 ...

The population is edging toward 800k now and staying true to the principle of minimum impact on the terrain ... it is getting harder to grow the Sims.

In the following shots are some work I did around my Dam and the use of canals ... I also tested Jeronij's new canals and made a transition lot from PEG's narrow canals to the JRJ Canals.

Enjoy.

Thank you to those that posted comments.

Excellent transition and good use of the new canals from Jeronij. Creeping closer to the 1 million without doing as much damage as I did. Well done.

This is an excellent use of the canals, period!  The dam scene is perfect.

Very nice Colyn, like Jestarr says, "excellent and perfect".

Well in every city we have our special spots ;) ... now here in Sabenza the Sourbrodt Restaurant is one of those for me ... this is where I come for a fantastic dinner but I also come here some afternoons to sit on the deck across the street and watch the sun set over the valley.

This was one of the last models JENX gave me to render and I decided to lot it to act as a "heritage" lot ... a restoration of something from the past ... I also needed a place where I could use the fantastic steam train that Jessatr built long ago.

All in all this lot is very special to me and I always smile broadly when it is offered.

Hope you like it ...

Thanks for the kind comments.

Sounding almost like a TM, Barby....

Colyn: Is that one of yours ? It looks like one of Mika's.

Love it.

Bongoswimp

Vester, the building is indeed Mika's.

Great Lot!  &apls

You're a master Colyn, I just hope you release everything you shown above, because, that's top class lots, any of them, including of course Jer's canals.
About your Dam, I'm still looking for that special spot where to plop it in my Shosaloza. I just hope when I find it, that it will look as good as yours.

Oh man, Colyn... how can you keep that to yourself?

I like the use of jer's new/upcoming canal system.  Great work!  &apls
You're telling me I get to be home for more than 12 months?

Colyn, these look perfect. I very much look forward to playing with these new things! &apls

There is a balcony the hangs over the cliff in that last picture. How did you make that work? I didn't think you could develop or plop anything that lose to the ledge.

Colyn

Thanks for the comments ...

I will release all the lots I have made for Shosaloza ...

I am in the final stages of the game now and I need to be very creative to get the numbers in without trashing the environment and in quad D4 and C3 I am taking to the water ... hence the Malta collection.

I decided to bundle the whole set together instead of releasing them one by one.

I am busy cleaning up the SG ditches I made and the TRANSITION pieces are mostly done.

@ Joel ... I made the BAT to work like that.
@ Vester ... yep it is a Mika building.
@ Rayden ... coming from you it is a big compliment for me. You have inspired me a lot.
