I have decided to start a MD, so here I go! Help me if you can, but I'll try my best.

Here is a teaser of what is to come.

I should have more tomorrow, so stay tuned!

canyonjumper

Looks cool! Where'd you get the name from? Just randomly made it up?

                -Jordan
I'm the one who jumped across the Grand Canyon... and lived.

adroman

I always enjoy a MD that begins with an Aeroplane  ;)

Looking good, Cyclone... I'm looking forward to the rest of Bob!

Havva good one,
Adrian.
737s, Air Force, Australia... what next?

emgmod

An MD starting with a landing plane can never end up bad. I also heard you like airports, because you asked me to build two of them.

I am always too lazy to plop all of those grass filler lots in my airport. I should start sometime.

I actually got it from my dad, he says if he had an island, he would name it Bob. I just expanded the idea.

It just takes time. It took me 6 hours to build my first one with RMIP. Now I take 45mins - 1hr.

Now to the update! I'm not to good of a storyteller, so I hope the pictures are good. Any questions or comments are appreciated.

1-1

You guys like airports, right? :P

1-2

Just some cargo.

1-3

Suburbs

1-4

You tell me...

1-5

The start of a university.

1-6

And the sports complex.

Thanks for reading!

Thank you, airports take time. Get used to it, and it gets easier.

UPDATE

Now for the update! I got a bit rural for this one. Should be staying that way for a while. This one is short, but I think the pictures are good.

2-1

Few bridges cross this river, most are right here.

2-2

A popular hangout by the river.

2-3

And the place to go hunting.

Battlecat

Fantastic job on these natural scenes!  You've got some great details here!

canyonjumper

Wonderful use of the STR and Mayor Mode Trees! That looks like an awesome hangout :D.

Not bad but your pictures are a bit too dark for my old CRT. Expecially the contrast off 2-3 is so low I guess more than I can see.

Nice work with the empty spaces. You might however turn off the grid before making your shots.

BTW: Did your father ever watched the movie "Titan. A.E." by incident? The MD's name sounds like that ... (if he watched the movie he will understand ...! ;) )

Take care

Bernhard

Sorry about the darkness, it just happens. I remembered to turn the grid off, and IDK if he has.

UPDATE

3-1

The bridges, from another angle.
3-2

Some farms in the valley.
3-3

CPI's have started to move in.
3-4

An old hay field.
3-5

And an overview of Grafton, one of the largest farming towns in Bob.

emgmod

Those two interchanges look very close to each other. Ignoring that, it looks like driving through that RHW is going to be driving past farms that all look the same, with the occasional interchange.

canyonjumper

Great pics, Cyclone! I really like that fourth one.

Fantastic rural area, and the last image is great!!!

Battlecat

Good start on this rural area!  The farms look very nice and I like the details along your river as well.  Can't wait to see more of this area.

Nexis4Jersey

Nice Region so far , you might give me some new ideas
