Amazing story of growth you have here. It's growing really realistically. I might copy some of your ideas.

Your sequential shots are a real treat!  It's very cool to see the pattern of growth as your city slowly grows!

The State of Nesara: Update Seventeen

The richest man in Nesara, this construction tycoon recently moved into his newest home. Located in the Green Oaks Residences community, which is owned by Davidson's company, Davidson Contracting Ltd., the house is estimated to be worth $1.3 million. Although not the most expensive in Cedar, it is situated in the most exclusive area of the town. After moving out of his old house closer to central Cedar, Danny Davidson also developed houses for his two sons and daughter, all of which are located inside Green Oaks.

Kimberly Korra only recently became a full-time resident of Cedar, and has the distinction of owning the most expensive home in all of Nesara. Estimated to be worth just over $2 million, it is situated near the Cedar Police Station on the eastern edge of town. After the success of the Korra Ceramics factory, Kimberly decided she wanted to be next to her work fulltime, and moved her family with her to Cedar. The Korras are the 2nd richest family in Nesara.

The upstart insurance tycoon might only be reaching his late 30s, but he already owns a home worth almost $1.7 million in western Cedar, just off of Country Road near the Nesara Fuel station intersection. Owner and CEO of Lifetime Insurance, the largest insurer in Nesara, Steinberg has thus far resisted the temptation to move to eastern Cedar, where all the luxury homes seem to be popping up. Out of the three most expensive homes, his is the oldest. Udrich Steinberg, who is still single, is currently the 3rd richest person in Nesara.

Well, that's it for today. Hope you enjoyed these last few updates. Next time, we will start looking at the development of Cedar as it approaches 10,000 residents. Enjoy!

Nice houses.  :) Where did you get the pool in your gated community?  ;D

Great couple of houses there Nedal ! I liked all of them, however I'm not a fan of classic houses, I prefer modern ones. Can I have a home (modern) in Cedar ? Because the Svanskinahya president would like to take some vacation out of Russia. :)

Replies

planetechef: Thanks! I downloaded a few pools, but I thought this one fit best.
canyonjumper: The BATs really do work out great! They gave me the exact look I was going for :)
kimcar: Thanks - I dont really use to many effects, just a little brightness contrast, some sharpness, and a flip :)
art128: Are you kidding?! The Nesara Council would be HONOURED to have the Svanskinahya president as a part-time resident of Cedar! Perhaps you could link me the house he would want to build and where in Cedar he would like that to happen :) And dont feel too bad about the 200th post, every other one is just as important!
scott1964: Thanks to Jordan for providing the link to the pool :) Thanks for commenting.
Battlecat: Thanks! I always used to wonder reading other MDs how a certain looked before, so I decided to implement that in my MD :)
emgmod: That is very flattering to know you want to copy my ideas! :) Didnt know I was doing anything special!
Tomas Neto: Thank you for your wonderful comment :)
penguin007: You will soon :) What about you? When can we expect an update!?
marsh: Waterparks are really fun, although I havent been to one in quite a few years, lol. Thank you for commenting.

The State of Nesara: Update Eighteen

I have been very busy the past few days, so I havent been able to really play. But I dont want to neglect the MD, so here is a small update about some development going on in Cedar. On a side note, the Nesara Council has taken note of all your residential applications and requests and is striving to meet your demands ;)

Due to the influx of workers coming to find jobs at the new factories, the demand for cheap, affordable single and double bedroom housing has quickly outgrown the supply. That is the why the Nesara Council has implemented an initiative to construct accommodation for the new residents of Cedar, and make sure that there are enough residential units to meet the current demand.
Before the construction of what people have started calling the Industrial Park Apartments, many of the laborers were forced to rent out rooms in homes, and most of the rent rates were too high for the new factory workers to be able to save money accordingly. Some even resorted to sleeping outside the factories they work in, sometimes on the cold, hard asphalt. The Nesara Council's initiative has identified the lack of proper affordable housing and has subcontracted companies, mostly Haiden Construction, to begin meeting the demand. The housing estates are owned by the council, and rent is regulated according to the wages being paid.
