Thanks for dropping by my friend. I hope one of those batter step forward. So far, not yet.

I'm happy I could help you as well. Definately with lights, thinks look different. Thanks for your kind words. About renaming, if you have that "SimCity 4 Extra Cheats Plugin.dll" file installed, during game, press Ctrl+x and then over the box, right-click with the mouse. It will show a list of cheats, pick the ones:

- whererufrom <name> Resets the name of your city to the given value.

- hellomynameis <name> Resets the name of the mayor to the given value.

Colyn (2)
Thanks Colyn, but I would prefer to give them in hand to sobebody that I trust to do a very nice work with it, and besides, it's not very legal to post models over the net without authorization to do so. I can give them away to sobebody but not post them.

emilin (3)
Thanks emilin, I hope so too to see them on the LEX one of these days, them and some of the many others I have.
Sorry if the update came so late, but RL got in the way this time. I hope you enjoy it now. Thanks for your kind words on my canal work. I hope I can improve my skills on that canal stuff, coz, I wasn't completely happy with the final result. My only excuse is the terrain didn't gave me much choices do do it better.

Badsim (2)
You're very kind ;D Nik-Nik has very sharp eyes indeed, he should be called from now on, Nik The Eagle. ;D About "my" lots, unfortunately I don't have your LE skills or your imagination. Most of my stuff are small filling lots, change of textures. So, far, my only Lot is a nuclear power plant I did with a great help from Jestarr on cleaning up all the dependencies from it and it's actually on the LEX. I also also have some small warehouses I used on my other CJ's port. About those lots you mentioned and liked, can you please tell me exactly which ones are. Re-post the images if necessary.
Thanks again for dropping by, hope to see you soon mate. :)

Thanks for your comments. Here is the link your requested.

Thanks my friend, I hope the waiting has been worth of.

thundercrack83 (7)
Well thunder, 7 posts between updates, you were the most impatient of my friends. I hope you too, find the waiting worth of and enjoy this update bellow.

Rayden is the master builder.  Very good stuff, in fact the right stuff.  And now you have the night stuff.  (I couldn't help it.)

Hehe, thanks for the praise ;)

rooker1 (2)
Thanks mate. There's several good options around:
- Shenzhen Universiade Stadium
- Or search for dmscopio at the STEX [linkie]

How's it going my friend?
I just finished to look at all your updates...WOW! Amazing job! You're truly a mosaic master. Beautiful MD you got here.
Oups! Have to go...my son needs the computer and since he's the boss...lol!

Again, great work! Can't wait to see more!
Cheers!

Eric

Of course I remember you Eric, thanks for dropping by my humble MD. Looks like you're having the same problem as I had with my daughter, but in my case I was the boss, which didn't solve much, as I had to buy her a laptop so she could messenger all her friends ;D Hehe.

nova vesfalo
Thanks NV but the stadiums are not my creation, but some very good models someone gave me and I would like to share them, otherwise I will not have any use for them.

cali (4)
Thanks Cali, I hope you enjoy the so called waited update. About my "drawings", that's only some photoshop tricks I know. ;)

zniehadajet
Thank you my friend, I'm glad you liked. Be sure you come back, but before, check our travel agency, we're having some price breaks, and you might find a very juicy deal on our flights to Rayden's Shosaloza ;D

Great renaming!
I love that mosaic as I always do.
The developped (read grown) buildings look typicaly like mine. Somy's 01 and 02, SFBT's residentials (grosses Miethaus & kleines Miethaus) Jebel blove on shore, etc. makes me feel right at home  ()stsfd()
Great how the rail road goes up. Wonderfull done.

HEY What's that you missed buldozing some road lots! ()sad()  Ooops, caught!!  ;D
I also noticed some missing texture at the dirt road/rail road crossing in the middle (next to the church).

I love how you done the start of the river, from the glacier, first using PEG's pond tiles and then transition it into the canals. Interesting.

question why did you use so many roads and not streets?

Final word on this mosaic: MOOI!

Nik-Nik

That's not missing textures, and that's one of the reasons I don't use more streets on high density cities. Look bellow at the picture. The other reason it's, on high density cities, the streets soon get completely crowded with cars.

Jeez, Silvio...  honest- I don't even remember the questions.

...no, no...  not the bamboo under the fingernails...  ow, ow, ow, ow, OW!

Great mini-update!  There's always amazing stuff to see here.  And good luck with 3DStudio Max.  I know you'll be putting that to good use.

David

Here he is again, teasing me up! Thanks David, unfortunately I still haven't managed to setup properly 3DSMax, still waiting to see if an angel decides to give me an hand on that matter. The bat4max keeps hanging everytime I try a preview or a render of the model at 16%. Weird.
About my work, thanks, you're too kind as usual. I hope you too, enjoy this next update.
Cheers
Silvio
PS: I've been looking for flight deals to Anchorage for next year, and so far I've found one for 840 euros. If I find one bellow 500 euros, you can be sure I will buy you a coffee there in Wasilla, and in exchange you will show me that McKinley beast (5Km tall). ;D

Thanks my friend. I'm really glad you enjoy this MD, and I hope to see you back soon.

patfirefghtr
Hey Pat, nice to see you back. Yes indeed, long time no see and you will have a lot to catch up. 14 pages of painful updates ;) That's a suitable punishment for your absense ;) ;D

With no further delays, let's get the "choper" in he air and fly around throught the Eagle valey (Nik's valley)

First, an aerial view from the top of the mountains...

Now, some random shots...

The 7 mosaics, click the links as some of them are really big.

- Mosaic 1 - 1,66 MB

- Mosaic 2 - 320 KB

- Mosaic 3 - 1,03 MB

- Mosaic 4 - 1,30 MB

- Mosaic 5 - 1,06 MB

- Mosaic 6 - 1,29 MB

- Mosaic 7 - 311 KB

And now the animations:

Excelent Barbie's lotting on Fukudas models. Thanks Godess ;D

Another 11x11 lot, is that yours too Barbie?  &Thk/(
http://rayden.zftp.com/sc4/shosaloza/cityc1_anim1.swf

And now, have you guys the popcorns ready? Enjoy! :D :P $%Grinno$%
http://rayden.zftp.com/sc4/shosaloza/cityc1_anim3.swf

And that the end of another small update. Time for some stats.

- Shosaloza now is a little over 300K inhabitants
- There is still a lot of cities that can be developed. I'm sure I will not have to add some extra land to the water bodies in the region.
- This update, took my all free time of yesterday and today.
- Was made of 98 screenshots, that after being scaled and re-touched with PShop, weighted 12,5 Mbytes.
- The biggest mosaic took some 16 screenshots (1024x768).

Well, that's all for now, enjoy the update and see you guys later.

beskhu3epnm

You are truly relentless. :D

Considering you are not using LE on everything, the way you manage to make everything fit so nicely is truly first rate.

Your PS skills are pretty awesome as well. Just when I thought I could get my cities to look kinda like yours, you go and get better....
And of course, the presentation is becoming better and better. I don't know how you do it (I imagine your helicopter has something to do with it) but just keep going. I will be following your every project as long as you are active here.

This stuff is THAT good! ;)

Every single update I see gets better and better.  I want to add a word of thanks for sharing those mosiacs... the work and effort shows (number 4 is my favorite, but saying that is hard because they were all amazing)

Great work!  Thanks for sharing!
You're telling me I get to be home for more than 12 months?

thundercrack83

Well, my friend that was definitely worth that wait! I looked at all the mosaics (especially number 4), and the animations were great, too! All in all, a fantastic update!

And sorry about the seven posts, I feel like a bit of a pest now...

Take care,

Dustin

Superb set , Rayden , superb ....

I'm amazed by the fact you don't use massively LE and can obtain this result ...I really wonder which of us need the most to be skilled/crafty . :P
That's sure I never would have this result without LEditing everything .
So , my friend , be sure I enjoy your work to its right value : I love it . ;)

This is the building I was requesting for ...

I thought you made this urban mall , there are 4 japanese (with enlightened glasses ) props on the roof ... now it is secluded from the mosaic , assembly defects are more visible  .... ::)

... wait a minute , I've found another picture ....

... well , maybe not perfectely assembled , but impressive !  ;D

and now the usual question :D $%Grinno$% $%Grinno$%
where did you get the following canal transition?

thanks you very much

emilin

I still haven't had time to really breath your amazing mosaics in, but: &apls &apls &apls

Your take on Shosaloza is simply breathtaking. I can't understadn where you find the space to build all that in such a hard terrain. Your terraces flow naturally and gently, and suddenly a high altitude valley looks like the perfect spot for a big city. Bravo!

It's part of the canal set, and I think its position on the menu it's just above the canal locks. I'm not at home, so, I can't verify that right now. ;)

Badsim

Thanks for the link ....

Hehe ( :D) , reading comments on Simtropolis , JTPortland explain how he included the japanese arcade prop in the DAT file because the japanese link is broken ... It's so an illegal Lot  ;D (I don't really care about this , just for fun ... $%Grinno$%)

Super incredible, awesome fantastic.........hmmmm....what else...........I think you understand.  now that was an outstanding update.  It could have very easily been 2 or 3 updates.  I'll be DLing that Lloyd Center, it looks huge and perfect for my city.  I can't beleive how realsitic you have made your city in such mountainous area.  Great work.  I have no patients for slopes like that.  I perfer to build almost on flat land.

()what()  Only that  :D Just kidding . Wow ! A lot of great work over there . Impressive pics , animation and mosaic you show us. I don`t know wich one i prefer , cause they have to much , but the region one and the third one and... &apls  ;D Defenitely a great update . i like what you did with the movie park . Nice heli BTW

NikNik

Great stuff Silvio.

Yeah those streets tend to glog with cars. However if you have enough busses in your city the Sims do not complain. Aha it was in the picture that I misinterpreted the rail road crossing. The close up is much better yes!

Eagle valley... ()stsfd()

Massive update Silvio.
I guess that the drive-in movie park is somesort of meeting place for young couples hence they arrive after the movie  :D

Great night pics!
Great hotels and fast food joints. LOL those cops I love that Dunkin Donuts lot!
Is teher a problem with the texture with that trainstation (I believe it is Ill Tonkso's) I notice the road in front of it and that it connects to the second road (hence the pedestrian crossing) but it does not show only some hedges on a piece of plaze (any idea what I am rambling about?):

I only checked out the first three mosaics. They are awsome. Great spooky graveyards. Is that Millenium dome realy pink at night?

Anyway I got to go and add my car to the traffic jams to get home (yeah RL is sometimes frightenly familiar to SC4 LOL).
