a new 2010-spec region transit view mod

over the years i have used a couple of different types these mods, and each had their own pros and cons. i havent really seen newer ones made as of late, and i was wondering who out there has made them or who can make them?

constructive input/the tweaks i would love to see in a new one are:
-display the zone colours in the region.
-show train stations as a different colour to the rail line (yellow on the black rail lines)
-can subway be shown?
-a better tone between avenue/road/street. (maybe in tones of grey as it can block out the name of the city)
-ELR/GLR/Monorail stations shown as a different colour to their line colours.

i have seen transit view mods that do the above, but not in the same mod. i dont know what the limitations are, and colour limits but otherwise i see these as great visual displays to see in a new mod.

Quite possible indeed. There is a value in the file responsible for the zone colors to show up. A side effect is that you can also see transit models (bridges, elevated networks and RHW (as a dark line))

Not possible. Stations are basically the same network and get their corresponding colors.

-can subway be shown?
No. That can't be done.

-a better tone between avenue/road/street. (maybe in tones of grey as it can block out the name of the city)
Just editing the values of the colours of these networks and you're done!

-ELR/GLR/Monorail stations shown as a different colour to their line colours.
Because ELR and GLR are technically the same network, this can't be done.

trains stations can be highlighted, i used a mod that did this once.... this is a few yrs old but this is the only pic i have from using this mod. the trains stations were yellow on the black railway lines
