Those zoomed out views are amazing!  Even there I can tell there's a lot of detail you put on the shoreline.

Of course I want to share my ideas, so have made a little tutorial how to create a realistic cornfield in a few steps..

Tutorial
-MMP(MayorModeplopable) Cornfields-

No annoying Lots, no annoying work with diagonal parts. That allows gridless work with the corn-props.

What we need(only for the barley field):
Paeng's SPAM Addon Pack Vol01 1.0 + Dependencies
HBS Tropical Flora Pack (Mayor Mode) 1
SG Tractor MM Ploppables BSC
BSC Farm Fields - SG Revised

optional:
Franky's Rural List for the planting with trees, bushes and other MMPs
SC4 Model Tweaker

For my purposes, the grain models are unfortunately too large. Using the Tweaker to shrink models. In my example, the grain models are a little smaller than the download version.

Let us begin..

A normal field in Gassian ..

We begin to limit our field with the HBS Mode and set individual Mudfields(BSCFarmFields-Mud), especially at the beginning of the field.

Now we create some details. We plop harvesters and tractors on the Mudfields(SG Tractor). You can create some simple 1x1 lots with the LE that make a field more realistic...Simple scenes like a bed in Cornfield or The field fire
In this example, I only have a few sunflowers on a 1x1 lot and a small Tractor scene ...

Next, we plant the corn(MMP Paengs SPAM) (in my example: barley)We use the boundaries of the field and create a harvest scene. The barley is planted like any other MMP Bush or Tree.

We make some "cosmetics" with the HBS Mode

At the end we only plant some trees, bushes, etc.

Ready!!!!!!!

I hope you like my small tutorial ;)..

Great job with that market area! I really like those "streets" on the sides of it. Also, it's really cool how you've lotted those highway walls and how perfectly they line up with the road tunnel entrance.  &apls
