Good day SC4Devotians!

I'm absolutely new on SC4Devotion, and although I read the rules, so carefully as I can do it, I'm not free to make mistakes. Please tell me if I'm doing something wrong, and,my apologies if my English is not the best
I created long ago a nation, a very big one, called Mayalenum. It consists on many SC4 regions. The main city, Ilísibil, is about to reach 10 million inhabitants some day (I'll show more details later). Although I'm able to write a big text about climate, nonpolitical history, and more details about the region, I think it would be boring to you, reading so many funnythings at the first post (removes the "magic") so please take a look of MRID (Mayalenum Region Image Database).

Thanks for taking a time on this, and good luck!

This is a image from Néppolens, a neighborhood located on Ilísibil, Neblussa, Mayalenum. Please note the sunny weather today! The population, just inside the image, reaches about 3 million inhabitants

Neblussa's Flag (sorry kids, this is no homework for you)

Mayalenum central region, Neblussa, is the most developed region of all the region set. Mayalenum culture is caracterized to be very abstract, so although this flag would be very weird on real life, this is Mayalenum, and it isn't! Please, to see the complete flag, click on the image

Thats ALOT of buildings!  :shocked2: Whats the population of the whole region?

Hello Black Elephant,
I find it interesting when I see people from all ove rthe world come and join us here at SC4D, especially Chile as my wife is from there.
Anyways.....very nice start and I wouldn't worry about your english, it's just fine.  If you ever need any help just send me a PM.
It looks like you have covered the coast line very well.  Do you have any ports that we could get some close ups of?  Maybe some industrial areas for me, although it does look like your cities are mostly commercial.
But I do look forward to more.
Robin

Skyscrapers ahoy! That's quite the developed region you have. I look forward to seeing some closeups of the various areas.

Good day again and, Thanks for the comments!

Ok, after reading Robin's comment, I'll explain an image of Rissan & Rodibra docks (located at, eastern side of Neblussa, western side of Ilísibil, respectively)

Rissan Old Port surely is the oldest one in all Central Mayalenum. Conecting to the ancient East, received a lot of traffic many centuries ago. Although now has a patrimonial and touristic importance, portuary activities has almost reduced to zero, in order to preserve the structures. Please note the farms and low-density houses around the little village, is really harder to me keeping it, more than the skyscrapers zone!!

Rodibra's Promenade has an remarkable influence of the real life in the West. But, as Mayalenumians are fictitional, they just don't perceive it! The port leads to the Western Cities, a very hot place, with  "slum seas". Later, images and summaries will explain better the situation there!

Nice little town there.  The residents seem on the wealthy side, but that's probably becasue of the tourism.  The port looks great too.  The only suggestion I have is to turn off the grid when taking pictures. ;)  (press "G" to this).

I agree with Robin, try to turn off the grid when you're taking pictures; it really makes a difference.

Your picture look really nice. Your towns have a really nice variety of homes in them and your ports look really cool as well. One thing I must ask though is that you convert your pictures to .jpg form. Right now they are .png, which is the form that the game takes the pictures in, but it is fairly simple to convert. It's important to change to .jpg because it takes a long time for them to load on some browsers.  :)

Keep up the good work!

I know about the grid thing , it just I liked more with it in the time I took the pictures. Terrain texture seems to me like.. "a bit nude". Anyways, i have some pictures to upload in the gallery without grid (or I can cover the nude terrain with trees, rocks, etc..)

I also knew and thought on changing to jpg, but as this images are so many, i'll need a time to transform it (I'm a bit lazy, but that's no reason to not do it, right?). I hope to transform them all today.

Thanks for telling that points!

Post-edit: I already changed them.

In a separate topic, today I'll explain the history of Phons Norum; a "transitional neighborhood" between migration and establishment. Located on the hot, dry western side of Mayalenum, it reaches temperatures so high as 43 celsius degrees!. Receives most of the inmigrants from the West, looking for better life quality with the excellent Mayalenum "services grid"; plenty of schools and hospitals in all big cities, giving elemental life elements to the population.

But migration is not so easy. They need to file some data, and wait some weeks, or months, for coming into most cities of the country. So, for this need, Phons Norum has been created, like an "giant cheap hotel". Although good hospitals, firemen, education for the little inmigrants, are available, this place is a haven for the mafia (giving "jobs" to the rejected ones), and sometimes happens sad events, like big shootings in the main streets.

The place to begin.Phons Norum from Phons Mons (Light Mount). Please note the abandoned commercial buildings: actually they are mafia offices.

The place to reach. NGC (Néppolens Green Condominiums, an urban project that created 38 hi-rise apartments in a suburbial coast)

Remember: When I took this photos (so far, about four months), I don't consider the grid . My apologies if the picture is not the best.
