I hope this is the right section for this question..

I want to add monthly costs to Goobergen Air Purification,
I know that changing monthly costs is done by changing budget cost, but this plopable building does not have the value budget item: cost.
So I added this value in Reader:
Name: Budget Item: Cost
Name Value: 0xEA54D286
Data Type: Sint64
Rep: 1
Value: 0x00000000000004B0 (= 1200)

I also added
budget item: department (sanitation department),
budget item: line (0)
budget item: purpose (sanitation)

What am i doing wrong, or am i missing something? Because it's not working ingame, it still doesn't have any monthly costs..

thanks

budget item: line (0)

Try setting Budget Item: Line to 0x0000000A.
That's how it's set for the ingame recycling center.

Alright, that seems to work, partly atleast.
The monthly costs now work, there is only one thing..

The goobergen air filter is now located in the same line as the recycle centre (logical) but i'd like the goobergen air filter to have its own line. Like the 'kleine lucht filter' with a budget of § 100 has in the screenshot. (it's in dutch but i think you'll understand what i mean).

The budget item: line of the 'kleine lucht filter' is 0, that's why i entered 0 for the goobergen as well..

It obviously should work then... try entering different numbers for Budget Item: Line.
Also, try to change it back to 0x00000000 as well...

If it still won't work, you could try to make it anew from scratch.
Sometimes Reader manages to screw up properties, and in those cases I've always had to restart my modding...

Watch3r

all doesn't work ()sad()

Could it have to do something with the fact that it's occupied?
I thought so, so i deleted the properties:
;capacity satisfied
;occupant types
;and purpose

But it's still not working..

Here's a screenshot of the examplar file of the building in Reader, before i deleted those three properties but with the newly added budget items.
Maybe you see something..

I wish I would... &mmm
As far as I can see there's nothing wrong in that file...

Is there any chance you might have another copy of the file (or this particular building exemplar) somewhere in your plugins?
Especially a file that would load after this one that you've beed editing...

Watch3r

nope, i haven't, already checked it twice :P

I'll just leave it this way, it's not a big problem, the main point was that i wanted to add monthly costs to the building.. And that's achieved :)

Thanks for your help
