You know I find it hard to resist these challenges, but I think I'll leave it up to someone else this time. I have to say though, the second part proves to be an interesting part to ponder.
-Matt

EDIT: Matt, my great friend, you've won a couple of these.  Thanks for being such a great part of 3RR over the years. -de

I think I'll do the same ... do recognise most of them   :)  good luck to the winner or winners

EDIT:  You are forever gracious, Cathy. -de
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?" DEATH thought about it. "CATS," he said eventually, "CATS ARE NICE.

I can't possibly name all the nics (Though I do know some), but I do think I know how they're related... They all contributed to RAM Phase 1 / are RAM Team members?

EDIT:  Nope, jd.  Oh, and you can make as many guesses as you want in either part. -de

Lemme guess: These people all have one tile in the 3RR collaboration project from a few years ago?

Matching all the avatars wasn't that hard, but to be honest, I have no idea what they all have in common (apart from being long-lasting members of the community). I'll guess: they've all posted in 3RR from the start? (2007 on this site IIRC).

Did they all make comments during 3RR's first year?

EDIT:  That, my friend, is a true statement.  Not the complete answer, but true nonetheless. -de

Oh, hi there.

I'm still here now and then. Been doing other things lately.

>.>

<.<

I'm going to hazard a guess that I was featured in the contest 'cause I kept the Double-0 list up to date?

Yikes, speaking of which...I don't think I've updated it since before I went off to college O.o

EDIT:  Patrick, trust me, all is forgiven.  I'll get to that.  Thanks for being such a great friend of 3RR, and welcome to your sixth straight year of posting here. -de

I love your work on the TTR wide radius rail curves David. Your train of innovation just keeps on rolling (keeping the puns going). When I started my city journal a few years back I had been inspired by the content that I was finding on the LEX. I loved the amazing innovation I saw in 3RR, the attention to detail I saw in CJ's like Shadow Assasin's Whitefall, Iridar and by the maps I saw in yours, JBSimio's and Battlecat's journals to name a few. It's these great game-changing ideas that bring me back and make me want to play the game. Sorry for the long absence. My New Year's resolution is to lurk no more. I've got a lot of time on my hands for the foreseeable future and I'm jazzed to use all the new game content.

Happy New Year!

Geoff

EDIT:  Getting that sixth year of posting here under your belt right away, eh Geoff?  You are too kind with the great words- I'll do my best to have 3RR live up to them in 2012. -de

and where's my reward for the lurkingest lurker to the sc4d?  :-\

EDIT:  Torben, it's great to see you at 3RR again!  I'll reward you for all that lurking by adding you as a 3RR Fact Checker.  It's you sharp-eyed folks who keep me on the straight and narrow.  I fixed my mistake, and appreciate the help, my friend. -de

... really, it is. I swear.

Heh!

More TTR coming up later tonight.  Watch this space.  I'll catch you up on the most regular of the 3RR Regulars*, as well.

UPDATE:  Eight more hours into this.

Phew!  Off to bed.  As it's the 14th now in Alaska, Happy Birthday, SC4!

David

*  A 3RR Regular, of course, is anyone who has posted in the thread here or over at 3RR-ST at least once.

Oh my, what a huge thing! I remember a junction of two mainlines in Chicago: it looks pretty the same. Although it´s not finished this switch looks awesome. I want it...no, i need it. And i know i have to play American style with endless trains on heavy tracks. The only thing i wish for now is someone would make a BAT of the big boy so then i can run trains with hundred ore cars.  ;D
If someone says this game would be an old one i´ll only laugh about. Old is something standing still but what i see in SC4 is movement pure, not only here in 3RR but Your work is a part of this wonderful new game i´ve rediscovered only two years ago.

Heh I was trying to wonder what the heck I could have done that was notable XD Well it's been a true honour to spend time lurking and occasionally posting David, you consistently post amazing and beautiful things, and I'm a sucker for technical stuff :D

Speaking of the nerdery, I totally hacked your competition ¬.¬ the URL's for each of the avatars contains the user ID, which can be used to go to their profile page.. :D

Thank you for acknowledging my lurking skills :D lol
