There's an underpass which connects the airport with the mainland. Look closely and you'll see it

Well, I finished the regional airport I was working on.



This is an overview of the airport, the full size is 2719 x 2756 pixels, so be warned.

If you click here [link], you can see close up shots, as well as a history of the airport, since it was opened for commercial flights in 2001. Yes, things have changed in a big way since then. It's based on the real life history of the New Zealand airline industry. Lots of companies going in and out of business. There are heaps of custom planes, including a never-before-seen custom 737 and A320! Very exciting stuff!

it's such a great airport!! the last picture looks a bit to LAX. I love the architecture of your concourses. onthe last pic, the southwest gate looks weird, you should to move it.
