Hello there,

In association with Buzzit's European Power Line Project I'm starting my own thread.

First up: a set of German 380kV power lines:

Watch this space for more "shocking" stuff!  ;D

Awesome! I think the "arms" (horizontal beams) are a little too wide, but otherwise, they just look like the real ones. :)

More electrical goodness.  :D  I agree with Andreas about the arms being wide, and I also think the outer segments of the arms might be a little thick.  Other than that, it's a sound design.  Good work!
Find my power line BAT thread here.
Check out the Noro Cooperative.  What are you waiting for?  It even has electricity.
Want more? Try here.  For even more electrical goodies, look here.
Here are some rural power lines.

Agree with Andreas, beams are a little bit too wide  ;)

This is the end, hold your breath and count to ten, feel the earth move, and then...

These look awesome Maarten! Are these a replacement for the Maxis ones then or is it a lot-based setup? Either way, very impressive  &apls

Fresh Prince of SC4D

The river crossing looks great. Weird, the top is candycane red-white but grey on the bottom...  ???

@noah: These do not replace the maxis power lines. These are hardcoded and very difficult (and limited) to mod. So it's a LOT-based setup.
@Fresh Prince: In RL these power pylons are also painted that way. The bottom of these pylons remain unpainted, probably due to save money and resources.

looks nice, but the äh balls at the top-line are normally yellow, not?

and I think all of the pylon is red-white...

but nice work, nice work...

good work maarten!
but like mister Y said
i though in germany the pylons were totally in whit and red
just like the elbe crossing
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2a/Elbe%C3%BCberquerung_1.jpg(for peeps who want to know what that is a picture!)

but i though not only at crossings its also near substations and airfields
but thats not important right now :)

keep it up buddy!
