I was getting a brown box instead of the Vinyard Hut in the new SFBT Vineyard by FrankyFour, igc and Andreas.

I used the EXE installer to but it seems to me that it did not install SFBT_Weinberg_Props.dat. This is odd, because I found the SFBT_Weinberg_Props.dat in the EXE using filejuicer and it fixed the problem. This could just be a mistake I made using the installer, however if anyone else is having this problem then although the EXE contains the SFBT_Weinberg_Props.dat, it does not seem to put it anywhere.

Thanks.
Happy day!

Andreas

Thanks for the note, apparently, I accidentially set a wrong path for the props, so they ended up among the readme file images. It only happens if you select the English installer, though. If you already installed it, you don't have to download it again, simply browse to \Plugins\SFBT\SFBT_ReadMe\images and move the file SFBT_Weinberg_Props.dat to the folder where you installed the vineyards (or use the SFBT_Props folder, if you want).

So, I am not crazy.  $%Grinno$%

I would have found it, but spotlight won't let me search my bootcamp drive.  :(

Hmmm, the props do not seem to be working in the fields.
In the image below the top lot is the plop. The props are on it so they must exist in the plugins. Do I have to bulldoze the farm and regrow it for the props to function correctly?

In other news: The farm only has 2 jobs? I count 45 working in the fields. lol

Andreas

Yes, the prop layout is stored in the savegame, so if a prop pack was missing, you'll have to bulldoze and re-grow/re-plop the lot. As for the workers, the "farm building" has 2, and each field lot has 1, I think. I'm not entirely sure how SC4 calculates the field workers, though.

These fields do have 1 job each.  The Capacity Satisfied property is in the field's building exemplar.  Maxis has this and other universal properties in a Cohort.
