Little late to the game, but I've always had a preference for Cycledogg's Columbus Terrain Mod...since I live in the middle of a dry, arid area, the super-green of that mod is very appealing.  :)

Well not so much to late really.  I have decided to start this whole adventure all over again.  So I'll give a look at the C.C.T.M. and make a decision.   Lowkee33 has been a big help with advice.  Low you were correct about having to much stuff in the game, and how it's just not my fun going through everything.  It really does take the fun out of it.

With Dat Packer, I was able to load the game with-in 1:36 seconds, but still the enjoyment was gone by searching for what I wanted.  In my defense I was selecting things to install and accidentally selected "install all" and afterwards, thought to myself, let's see if I can't make this work.

Ideally it would and could work (on my machine) if there was a way to make a better menu for everything.  Although that is another thread.  I want to thank everyone here.  I have learned a lot from everyone's reply's.  Even if it has taken a few times to go over to understand.   This second time around should be much easier, and hopefully I can figure what caused the boxes on the sidewalks?

I noticed that you have SFBT Street Tree Modd checked off.  You do not have all it's dependencies.

Robin  ;)

Thank you so much Robin!  Now the question begs, can I find those on the Lex web site or somewhere else?  If so do you know what dependencies I need?

I was understanding that anything I selected off the Lex Disk, had all the dependencies I need on it!

This is what I pulled from the documentation.

BSC MEGA Props - CP Vol01.dat
CPT_No8_TreeModelsPartOne.dat and CPT_No9_TreeModelsPartTwo.dat
PEG_MTP_RESOURCE_vol1.dat

So I'm assuming if I want the SFBT street Mod, then I need all of the above dependencies?

Yes, that's right and I'm going to assume that you have the first two.  For the last one, go to Peg's site and DL it there.

Do the first two come with the Lex Disk?  Meaning are they in the dependencies?

I went here.. http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=631  but I there was no way to download them?

Edit... Nevermind, it was just an IE problem.  I opened the link in Google Chrome browser and the download button appear. Go figure.  ???

I'm assuming this is the file that is the first out of the three listed that I needed?  I installed the other two but found this one in my folder already so there doesn't seem to be a reason to install it from the site correct?

Just wanted to say thanks for everyones replies.  I figured out how to use the dirt roads and make them work, as well as so far, I seem to fixed the ugly brown boxes.  I got all of the dependencies, and I took out the files in my plugin folder, that I needed to.  This thread helped me a lot.

The two things that I have learned from all of this.

1.)  Read me's are very important.  They have such useful information on them.

2.)  Don't be afraid to work with the files and folders.  I was afraid I about messing things up, and I'm sure you can, but they can be fixed as well.  I started to move some things around and things worked better, and got the desired results.
