Can't build railroad bridges

Hello,


I seem to have encountered a rather weird problem: I seem to be unable to build railroad bridges.

Normally it shouldn't be a problem: the opposite coasts are on the same height and all that but the games keeps saying that to build bridges on opposite shores I should be building straight and not diagonally.
Obviously I'm building straight... very odd.
Does anyone have an idea as to why this might be?

I guess it's your slope mod. try without it
