Waterford looks brilliant, TTC! I love it! I do agree with the suggestion about the seawalls, though. I think it would add to the city! Keep up the excellent work!

Great change, looks better now! Also the other places/ pictures are looking fantastic!

Very nice update.  I really like your mosaic, but if you don't mind, I have a small suggestion.  Move the farm one square away from the tracks to get rid of the brown dirt spaces and put a small line of trees.  Just my opinion.  The seawalls look perfect, I really like that set.

Robin

Ennedi

Very good update

I agree wit Robin about making larger space between tracks and farms and putting some trees there.
Another suggestion: Making fields on hilly terrain is very good idea and can create a great effect. But some farm fields are not enough slope tolerant - it is better to check it and if the effect is not good
a) change the farm field or
b) soften the terrain a bit (it is better to use the God Mode tools in this case)

TTC, the seawalls add just that extra touch!  Just sorta finishes the town like a 'lady' wearing gloves when she goes out!  I'm six of one, half a dozen of the other about the trees between the railroad tracks and the farms myself.  I like a lot of trees around farms but also think that they ought not be between the track and the scenery... :-\

Great teaser - looking forward to the next update!

EDGE4194

nice teaser!  ;)  Great job on the streets btw. you've used the diagonals in just the right amount to give them a natural curved effect. I will have to make notes....  "$Deal"$

I really loved the mosaic, you got a great MD here.

Personal Replies

Schulmanator: Thank you. I prefer to build my towns and plan zones as I need them. So the town/city slowly expands into the surrounding areas.
lots of trees are a necessity for all Visiting monkeys to have somewhere to hang out
Ps its good to tease every now and then ;D ;D

Ennedi:Thank you for calling through again my friend  I like your present cheers my man
Good development as you say with hopefully lots more to come too. Diagonal /Hillside farms see below reply to rooker1

Bat: Thanks. Yes having the town planners approve the seawalls gave a certain character to Waterford and  its a nice place to live but the public transport is not too great. Something to sort later ;)

Diggis: Plagiarism ? Me? Never $%Grinno$%- I couldn't afford the fine :D
I'm glad your people got in touch with you ::)

Thundercrack83: Cheers my man and the seawalls are in place and it does finish that area off well I think ;)

Patfirefghtr: Thanks Pat  Oh you noticed - well historical buildings should be preserved :D Glad I left you hanging there mate :D :D Liked the waterfall then did you?

Rooker1: Thanks my friend. yes that is the one area where i would love to see lots/fields been made to fit on a diagonal. been trying to find a solution that will satisfy me and my readers. hang in there.
your opinion counts - its just a little further down the line from me  ;) Of all things rural diagonal farms give me the biggest headache $%Grinno$% and forgot farms on slopes too $%Grinno$%

Fred_Ginger: Vicki ,Thank you. Waterford needed some "gloves" as you say and now can hold her head high when she meets other cities for a good old knees up. ()stsfd()
I know what you you mean by six of one etc, I feel the same trying to work out a solution.

Edge4194: Thank you sir  Patience is the key to getting them to look right.

Nedalezz: Thank you for dropping in. Hope you got your
when you came in?
Please call again as its always great to see new people here  Glad you like what you saw so far.

Radekmysza: Thanks for dropping in. I saw you :D Hope you liked what you saw?

Now for some pics

A new branch of Nip'N'Tuck opened its doors for business today in Waterford. At first business was slow as some of the techniques did not work properly.

The first two customers had a legitimate complaint i think especially as you see the results

Some of the local residents also booked appointments for the future

luckily for them the surgeons got new ingredients for the compounds they used and the following operations were a complete success

And now for a region shot. I have gone back to using the map that i started this md with since the rebuild so hopefully i shall managed to drag some of the connections from page one back into the story :D :D

Don't worry you will see more of the waterfall

Oh kettle's boiled time for a cuppa

Love the update, TTC! Glad to hear the plastic surgeons got their act together! And the map looks great, too! I'll be looking forward to seeing more!

Schulmanator

Those first two patients... well, got more nipped than tucked, methinks!  ;)

A charming update- your towns look so pleasant... perfect for sitting outdoors with a cuppa and some nice pastries.  ()stsfd()

Oh, TTC, I really like that region (gonna back everything up this time, eh?)  And what a lovely little couple of blocks you showed us.  I'm so glad the surgeons got their act together, although I for one am more than willing to keep my lines and wrinkles, after all, I worked hard to get them just right! $%Grinno$%

Hi TTC,

I have been leisurely going through your MD for days now. You have a very charming touch and your towns and villages are particularly pleasing. I loved the castle too. Great MD. Even Chloe the cat approves.  :)

I am looking forward to the waterfall too.
