Gascooker Commerical Lots Question

G'day all,

A while ago I found the gascooker UK commercial downloads on the LEX, awesome as I'm British and there is definitely a bit of Britishness missing from my cities.

Anyway, I want to turn the CS growable lots (i.e. the pubs and high street lots) into ploppable lots as I only want to use them sparingly in a few places, like town centers, however I cannot find the buildings anywhere. I've tried all of the dependancies (the gascooker mega props which they state), nothing, and the lots, nothing, infact the only thing I got with the downloads were .SC4lot files and a read me.

Then I also realised that in all the time I've had the british packs, none have ever grown in my cities, which may be due to lack of suitable conditions, but they have been there for a while now and I don't see why they would not grow. Oh, and I have tried with just the euro tile set.

Am I missing something here?

Don't think so.

The models for GasCooker lots are in BSC Mega Props GasCooker Vol1. The models have already been made into props. So you should be able to lot them to your hearts content on a park lot using the LE. That's the easiest way. But it will not be a plop lot with jobs. For that you'll need the XTool. Drag the models from the above prop pack to create CS$ or CS$$ landmark with jobs if you wish. Presto. That's easy. Then use the XTool to create a bare bones lot. Finish the job with the Maxis LE or the XTool's LE. There will be a learning curve. Not too bad, but a curve nevertheless. 

If they grow, and if you do not have the prop pack? You'll get the dreaded brown box. So I venture that you do not have the right conditions for growth. I can grow GCooker's residential buildings easy enough. But what it's worth, I find the commercials like the UK-cornershops hard to get.
