hi guys i've been playing sim city 4 for a long time and have only recently started playing again so i can work on a region. i downloaded some lots from this site which were great  :thumbsup: however i have found that a few of them (which i like very much) are set to a wealth level (they are R$ when i would prefer them to be R$$) i want to change and their population capacity (30) is too large. i would like to change the wealth level of these lots to R$$ and reduce their population capacities to about 10 to put them in line with the other houses. however i am having enormous amounts of trouble doing this  :angrymore: i can't find a progream that i can understand. i downloaded the Ilive reader and it is so confusing. i don't know how to change the parameters. and it seems only the .sc4desc files bring up the settings that i want to change (though i dont know how to use these settings). could somebody help me? all i want to do is change the wealth level and the pop level, nothing else. alternatively, are there any simpler programs out there that can do this?  i downloaded another program (i forgot its name) and it was much simpler but it too can only be opened with .desc files and it can't change population level.

You can try change lots properties with SC4 Tool from kurier.simcityplaza.de ...

That is the purpose of the original Maxis tools. Use the Maxis Plugin Manager to make a new R$$ builing. Then make a new lot using the Maxis Lot Editor. Then delete the original LOT and DESC files that you downloaded.

  Much better than changing stats in Reader.

  There is more to it than changing Wealth, and Capacity Satisfied.  You would have to change values in at least Occupant Types and Exemplar Category.  There is a property in the Sc4Lot to change as well.
