I try and try and end up always throwing out all the maps I try, they look horrible.

I am looking for a fairly large map.  Maybe 64x64.

Things I would like on it:

a large bay or oceanside.
a large river or two or three.
Numerous streams coming off the rivers, some forming lakes.
Mountain ranges
But a mainly flat area, I don't like high land area because I do a lot of agriculture.

I really like the way David did 3RR, and thought about using that but I want to use something new.  My thought you try to use 3RR and no matter what it will fail in comparision to the greatness that he has made 3RR.

I really liked the map of Middle Earth but it to is quite high and all of the streams don't pop up and the mountain peaks aren't high enough.  I have played around with the map and it looks ok but I think I am looking for something else.  Looked through the STEX and nothing piqued my interest.

I hope to turn this into a great new Mayor Diary.

ps .. i'll be forever in your debt.

Have you looked at our maps? (NHP maps)

They require SC4Mapper to install them...  Some of the maps are in the range of 40x40 large tiles some are bigger.  We have an assortment of mas released here and at STEX, just search for NHP on STEX.  Many of the large maps have been done by Beskhu3epmn and were taken from RL GIS data.

64x64 is hard to create, SC4Terrafromer starts to slow down when you get to 40x40 large tiles.

Hope you find something you like.
