When files are locked on the LEX....

First of all, I hope I'm posting this in the correct place.

This is really more of a suggestion than a problem.  Recently, I had download the "NAM Bridges Controller - Essential" file on the LEX before it was locked when the new NAM came out.  Since the file was added to the NAM downloads, the description of the original file was updated telling people to download the other thing now.  HOWEVER, a problem arose with that.  I was just looking @ my download history and noticed it was moved up to the top of my history with a red X telling me I should have to re-download it, but obviously I can't since it's locked and now part of the NAM.  My suggestion here is to when files are locked on the LEX, and if it shows up on your download history (or download list), it should have a lock symbol instead of the red X.  IMO, it would let people know that they don't need to have to download that file anymore.

Well, that's all.  Thanks again for such a great site.  I know how hard it can be sometimes to help run a site since I'm an Admin @ at Carl Long's Official Site forums (he's a NASCAR driver).

Cheers!!

Check out the 9/11/01 Car Set Checklist.

Take a look @ the JPG Compression tutorial.  A must read to help cut away unnecessary file size from 500k+ images to help dial-up users out.

I will forward this to Relic. Thank you.
Work, the annoying period between bike trips.

@Colyn: When locking that said file, I also saw that the "lock" button (or better, link) didn't change to "unlock". When I clicked it again, it still said "the file is now locked" or something in the message window, but it actually unlocked it again. No big deal once you know how it works, but it confused a bit at first.

Probably an oversight on alert message...There are a few more like that but nothing really problematic.
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it
