Good point, Diggis, and why don't they dissapear? This is the thing, when I made my own bridge over the canal, the cars turn invisible when traveling through mine, yet the water you can see underneath, but I don't know how Pegasus' bridge was rendered that this doesn't happen. Maybe, if a giant invisible time propped was put in the middle, timed the same when the bridge goes up, that you wouldn't see traffic pass through. Then again, that might not be possible either.

It's not that bad with cars, you can always find ways to reduce the traffic. But when you have ten-car trains running under the raised bridge, it stops being fun. I've raised the issue once, I believe, but since I have problem with the entire CSK kit, I've stoped using them altogether. Shame, really, because they do look great..

pagenotfound: Best picture ever :o

Very good picture.  The angle of the bridge makes a very cool contrast against the angle of the waterway.  The water mod used here also looks very good in the situation(which one is it?) and with the terrain mod.  Although someone might want to trim some of those trees near the el-tracks. :D

In honesty, the main thing that could be improved is that some of the tree models are very repetitive(look at the dark green ones on the bank above the bridge)

What are some trees that will be good for incresing variety? I got a few tree sets but a little more variety definately wouuldnt hurt.

Nice bridges in here, time to show one of mines:

The two bridges go over one of the arms of the Deng River delta. On them there are the major coastal highway and the coastal railway. (More informations in my CJ, link in signature)

Finally a close-up of the beginning of the bridges:

Hope you like it!

Livin in Sim

Hey, feliwi, nice bridges, and you have some interesting configurations for transit.  Your development flows nicely with the contours of the delta.  I like your water mod, and the slight foggy look.

Here's a pic I uploaded a while back in the "Scenic Area" thread, before the area acquired a bridge (had to have a connection to the next tile), and they built a Bed and Breakfast at the Falls...such is progress.  Do you like it better "Before" or "After"?

Bye for now,
Liv
