I hate to bump a thread, but...

Guaranteed to contain no Photoshop!

You can curve it too!

The technique I used can work with the RHW and HSRP too.

Monorail Master

Oh........My......God. :o :o :o   How did you do that? I seriously didn't know that you could do that with a RHW or HSR! Show some pics on how to do that!

And yes, I know that you can do that with puzzle pieces. I'm just wondering if that is a draggable. If so, make it on a video, and post it on Youtube.

yes, please show more. That is amazing. And don't tell me its just 'rain tool' antics. This is real water?!?

Real water. It is real water.

setsealevel 0 is your friend.

woodb3kmaster

Nice. I didn't know about that code. Have you experimented enough to be able to say how high the sea level can be before submerged networks/lots are automatically destroyed (if there is such a limit)?

Feel brand new. Be inspired.

emgmod

I'm not sure about the limit. I just know that using the cheat destroys all bridges and tunnels. I'll do some more testing tomorrow and might post a tutorial.

canyonjumper

That would be great,  emgmod!
I'm the one who jumped across the Grand Canyon... and lived.

A bit more testing:

And one on topic:

mightygoose

do you need buggi's extra cheat dll... how exactly do you use it, i've always been curious but never used it before
NAM + CAM + RAM + SAM, that's how I roll....

canyonjumper

That last pic would be cool :D! Cool tests, emgmod.

Yes you do. I tried SetSeaLevel
  • And I got the same results shown above.

Thats awesome McDuell! How'd ya do that???? Show us plssss &idea

emgmod

I can't tell if it's puzzle pieces. Explain where you got those models.

Methinks someone played around with a slope mod...  :P

...And SetSeaLevel.

Correct, both of you.  ;)

emgmod: This is plain draggable road, so no models were used.

firdausabdullah: I wrote a small explanation on Simtropolis. You may find it here.

A pity, that the road network seems to be the only one suitable for this technique. Every other network I tried with the same settings in the slope mod simply raised the terrain along the network, building a solid wall underneath &mmm. (This might be useful for building dams though ... )

As I'm no modder, I can't say for sure if there might be a possibility to extend this to other networks (probably not though, I think).

With a couple of tricks you can do it for any one-tile network. And you can plop puzzle pieces on the bridges too. You can also create sloped bridges this way. I've been experimenting a lot, but never got to the point of releasing something.
1. Install SC4+RH
2. Install LEX (CD&DVD helps) and latest NAM + updates
3. Play the game
4. ? ? ? ?
5. Profit!
