The SC4 Devotion Forums are no longer active, but remain online in an archived, read-only "museum" state.  It is not possible for regular members to post or use the private messaging system, and no technical support will be provided for any issues pertaining to the forums in their current state.  Attachments (those that still work) are accessible without login.

The LEX has been replaced with SC4Evermore (SC4E), and SC4E maintains an active Discord server.  For traditional forums, we recommend Simtropolis.

Hi there guys,
I know there's various issues covering the same topic but they all seem to be specifically for those users so I thought I'd have to go down the same route.

I downloaded SC4Mapper yesterday and I downloaded the necessary patch.  When I went to start it, like others, the banner will appear but then nothing else.  I also have SC4Terraformer and that works fine.

I have Windows 7 on my computer (I assume that helps).  So what do I need to do to make it work?

Also is SC4Mapper better, worse or about the same as SC4Terraformer?
I really dislike dependencies... :/
