NAM causes crash

I'm running an out of the box install of SC4 on an old XP machine and NAM is the only mod installed.

As soon as I try to place a road or anything from NAM SC4 now crashes like a NASCAR driver in an F1 race. Standard SC4 tiles work fine.

One thing that I did notice is that there were a lot of missing thumbs in the context menu. Would this be an indicator of a faulty install/download?

I am a sad llama now because I was very excited to see what this could do for my cities which are quite boring at the moment.

Do you have SC4 Deluxe (or the Rush Hour Expansion pack), or are you running the original SimCity 4?  If it's the latter, it's not compatible with the NAM (or most other custom content out there), and trying to run those plugins will cause the game to instantly crash.

as a matter of fact I was just coming back to say nevermind I'm now a sad, stupid llama.

I read what I thought was the install instructions... then I saw the more detailed instructions... and behold... there be my answer.... and yours  "$Deal"$  :bomb:

The good news is I do have Rush Hour... The bad news is the DVD's are hosed so I'll have to download a copy to get it installed... I shall return when this is done.
