News:

The SC4 Devotion Forums are no longer active, but remain online in an archived, read-only "museum" state.  It is not possible for regular members to post or use the private messaging system, and no technical support will be provided for any issues pertaining to the forums in their current state.  Attachments (those that still work) are accessible without login.

The LEX has been replaced with SC4Evermore (SC4E), and SC4E maintains an active Discord server.  For traditional forums, we recommend Simtropolis.

This is a good example of why you should download stuff through the official distribution channels.  I'd get rid of those files you received and start over, to ensure you get a proper installation, because chances are, there's a lot of other things screwed up in there, and as we don't know what's actually in there, we can't offer any real technical support advice, other than that.  This is outlined here.

It's also worth noting that the CAM has no dependencies and works out of the box, as it includes modified stats for Maxis buildings.  Only the old "starter packs" have a massive list of dependencies (mainly as they require buildings that the BSC was not authorized to make into MegaPacks back in '07), and there's a ton more content designed for the CAM out there (pretty much everything on the LEX is) that has a lot fewer.

In any case, you don't want the z_CAM folder (carpet? ()what()) as its contents are obsolete.

There is also a work in Simcity.CN for the CAM.

Of course  the queries have to be translated but worth it because there are great works!

Great link. I'm book marking that page. I did a quick browse and there are some good looking (future) game assets.
