Multiple plopping?

Hey everyone I'm sure this has been answered before, but I'm not sure how I would phrase a good search query to find it.

On some lots, when you plop it, the cursor turns back into a circle and you have to re-select it from the menu to plop it again; whereas on other lots you can just keep right on plopping. How do you control this?

Also, if i might ask, when you switch thru pieces with the TAB key, how do you go back. I;ve always wondered

This happens with reward lots or mods that are unlocked by MMLs (which is basically making them reward-like). There's unfortunately no way to change that other than remove the reward functionality...

ah i now see what was going on. Same combination opens steam's game overlay. Thanks.
