Greetings to your community! I m Dimitris from Greece, and I ve been playing sc4  [Deluxe edition (US version)] for a couple of years, however the last weeks I seem to have taken it seriously! Whoever is bored to read all these just go to the third paragraph to read facts, and If the matter of eternal commuter interests him, skip back to the first! The rest can start from the 4th!

I ' ll start presenting my cities (now obliterated) so as to analyze the second part of my question firstly..
I was playing the London default map of Maxis. I started  with "center-major" city the "Central London, where I just found it and left it for later developement.. I did some terraforming through out the region so as this river would become accessible to all see vessels..I then built the two small tiles moslty with R$+R$$ I$ I$$ and a few commerce here and there, depending the desirability of course. I then went to the medium tile and started setting up a city mostly with R$$$ and a few R$$ to fill the gaps..The center area of this city was terraformed as an island accessible only via ferry and was commerce only.. In a few hours it turned up a highly visited area with a lot of people visiting it.. I built another city on the small left tile of the region with medium classes and then the right one, an environmentally friendly city with only 1800 rich people and 7000 commerce, covering the demand from the other regions..

After all these done I started the central london.. Knowing from the begining that a huge city should have a smart, fast and reliable transportation system I made a plan. Large elevated highways circling the city, subs in the city in every block..Anyways,I see this post is keeping becoming bigger and bigger so to the point

The city was thriving the net income enormous and then an advisor told me I should upgrade the local airport from small commuters to medium...So I did...Suddenly ALL residences turned jobless, then black and abandoned and my pop from 180K to 0.. I didnt panick though as I had a lot of money to cover the losses..Suddenly the city started to develop again, this time with uneducated poor people..Most of my skyscrappers remained the shame..However incoming people(commuters just for job) decreased and the pop increased to 250K! After these I found SC4 and then...

I decided all maxis buildings are awful, lucking colors imagination etc etc.. I unistalled sc4 and installed again. This time I deleted the whole Timbuktu land(as I read that may cause crashes with mods) and then I obliterated all cities in all regions so as to have only zero residence regions to avoid any conflicts with the upcoming mods.. I then upgrated to the latest patch of Deluxe edition (US version)..First of all I installed Cleanitol, then CAM+NAM and ran the cleanitol with the updated remove list.. I tried a few buildings (UN building, spirulina farms) and then I decided that all these ugly, horrifying pumpin acres should get the gone!! I downloaded the BMD Mediterranean farms, keeping up strictly with the dependence list and using (if provided) cleanitol before each instalation...Again pumpin acres....I then tried without removing another set of farms... Newman_Inc_Farms_BSC After putting in all their dependencies I ran the game..Instead of Newman_Inc_Farms_BSC a BMD popped up!!!
I now have 5 tenuta wheat farms,2 Betania fruit farms,1 pedriana plants and two Maxis' stage 3(Jez,Farhans)
However I do not have stage I mediterraneans, nor stage two...Any help will be appreciated..

Let me see if I understand. You do not want to have any Maxis farms. Preferring custom Mediterranean style farms. There is also some puzzlement about the lack of stage 1 farms?

You need to download the No Maxis files from the LEX

http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=897

Keep unzipping stuff until you see the Prevent I-R folder and move that into MyDocs\Plugins. My experience is that I had to move the CAM over to Programs\Maxis\SimCity\plugins instead of MyDocs. The CAM deploys to an A_CAM folder during the install process. But it sometimes loaded after the Prevent Farms file. Consequently I had some 'improved' Maxis farms growing because they are a part of the CAM mod. Putting the Prevent Farms file in a ZZZ_Folder did not help.

The other thing to know is that the CAM changes the way farm stages grow. The default Maxis vanilla version will have a few stage 1 grow at the start of a new city in your new region. Then a few stage 2 will grow. Then mostly stage 3 farms will grow 70% of the time and you will hardly see a stage 1 or 2. The CAM changed things so that there is greater variety at the beginning of farm development. There is nearly equal opportunity for stage 1,2, and 3 farms to grow at the beginning of your rural city. It sounds from your description that things are working as designed. Just keep playing. You'll see some stage 1 farms grow too.

Yeap, all the stage I farms have really bad detailing and their fields, especially the empty ones are really awful

I tested this with bad resaults..This time I checked with Gascooker's industrial set (D-M plus the reward for having 15 bread line bakeries)..I enabled the block for the first category of dirty and the zoned tiles remained empty..I tested also the blocks for larger zoning and here comes the same, empty tiles..Gascooker's lot included 7 buildings but i only got 3-4 of them..Anyways,the industry looks better now

Apparently every single farm must be included in the CAM since when you clicko on one of them, you get the number for all your farms, not only the BSC ones

I noticed that you say about farms..However the motivation for dense zoning is decreased..I recently set up a city without cam,in a region of 300K..The city was build to satisfy the I-D I-M of my central area..I zoned 4X4 and 5X5 high dense and imidiatelly I got R$ skyscrappers

For now I unistalled again the game, and made a clean install..I reorganized the way of storing my plug-ins and I am much more careful when reading things concerning dependencies..I also changed the downloading plan..When I am asked XXXXXX vol3 I also download and install vol 1 vol2 before the third..This looks to help..I hope I find a way to get rid of all Maxis buildings..

My mistake..In the previous message I used italicized instead of bold letters...Anyways I have tried this and it stops every kind of buildings not only maxis...And I tested with various ways.. Initially,I started building a small town and nothing grew..Then I demolished some buildings in a grown I-D town, nothing happened again..I had enabled all kind of building styles including european ones...Now I ll try putting it in some different folders..

Anyways I have tried this and it stops every kind of buildings not only maxis...

Most likely you don't have any lots with the necessary stage required to achieve growth. For instance, if you start a new town with the Maxis blocker, you'd need custom stage 1 lots, otherwise nothing will grow indeed.

I just found out that some stage 1-3 industrial buildings are manufacturing and not dirty,as I used to think..However,most of my "Test" city is now covered with stage 5-6 I-D and a few 7..Some of them are really cool, like the Wallace Petroleum so I dont intend to replace them.

I have a small section with relative educated sims and I-M,most of them are gascooker's and seem to work well until now..

I also started changing my residental files..I have a few MBEAR's Villa Vipla and many Bronx style from tag_one..

All in all the game is very stable,as it was before modding, but looks amazingly improved. I ll keep playing in test cities and as soon as I cover all types and economical levels of zoning,I ll start normal building.

Thanks a lot for helping me! I ll post some photos as soon as I have a city worth seeing!

When you're talking about Industry you aren't just talking stage and type (dirty/manufactoring/hi-tech).  Among an Industrial buildings occupant groups you will also see Anchor/Mech/Out.  The way the game is set up, Mech and Out are pretty much the same (since their build ratio is set to 50/50 via Style Percentages in the Developer exemplars).

The point is, an Anchor can only grow when it will not be adjacent to another Anchor.  Mech and Out can only grow if they (or a Mech/Out next to them), are attached to an Anchor.  No Anchors in your plugin folder, no Industrial growth.
