I was playing Sim City 4 Making a huge monster cam sky scrapper city but then I needed mususems so  I plopped down a museum but this is what happens, when I put the bulldozer over it As you can see the Maxis water treatment plant is red too OOO . :shocked2: This is what the result was when i bulldozed it   The lot is blank and can not be removed sounds like immortal lot syndrome to me  ::) here is a image of the building And the link to the museum  http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=2334  I mean its a nice buildings but it going poofy on me is annoying and i need a lex admin to look into this, If this is the wrong place for reports or bugs in uploads on Lex then I am sorry I am still kinda new to the forms. ;)

Hi, gamzdude!

Seems like you got the immortality bug in your game, even though it may be annoying, it isn't too bad with what we'v come sofar. I've had a few of these problems, but THIS [link] can take it away. Be sure to read the readme for instructions. ;)

Have fun......

This shouldn't happen with the thoroughly tested LEX uploads....! How come?  ()what()

Thank you for the report. I've locked the building pending further scrutiny.

I just tested the LOT in my game and, while I don't have any issues with the model's occupant size and highlighting surrounding lots for deletion, or base textures or any LOT footprint remaining after deletion, there is one problem.

The lots adjacent to it (on the right hand side) exhibit immortal lot syndrome. So I can delete the museum lot fine, and all other surrounding lots, except the ones on its right hand side, if the road arrow is taken as the centre as below:

emilin ♦ Heblem ♦ jplumbley ♦ moganite ♦ M4346 ♦ papab2000
Shadow Assassin ♦ Tarkus ♦ wouanagaine

I have checked this lot in PIM_X, LE and in game. I can see no problems at all with this lot and had also used it when I was testing it before upload. I have never had an immortal lot with it and can see no reason why that would happen unless one of the adjoining lots is the one with the problem. I'll leave the lot locked for now and test it more thoroughly tomorrow.

Are you sure you dl the files here and not on the TSC ex. I am not sure but the files could not be the same (here all the files are scrutineered, on TSC it's the mess...)

Hi Gamzdude. F Y I - I downloaded the file this evening and uploaded it to my FileDen account. The scrutineers will be able to download and examine it. This topic may be quiet for a few days. Thank you for the report.

Hi Gamezdude.

Thank you for reporting this lot. It can indeed become immortal. I was able to duplicate in one of my test cities.

Hi Frank, I don't think that the scrutineers were looking for this type problem back in 2010. I read through the original scrutineer reports. The author stated that the PIMX was used to create the building and the lot. But didn't mention that additional (questionable) modding took place afterwards. This probably lulled the scrutineers into a false sense of security. They focused on some visual technicalities instead. Missing textures, misaligned props. There are still some props on the lot that I can not find nor does the read me reference them. I have a 'fixed' version on my computer. But it is not ready for upload. Finishing touches such as the description text, description icon, finding or removing the props I can't seem to locate, that sort of thing. The lot will remain locked until someone has ambition to work on it.

I am also missing props as I tested this with only the dependencies listed in the Readme. I checked the original scrutineering reports and found this "He has used a prop family that I made descs for and which is in JENXPARIS_Prop_Pack_Vol02. These are Porkie's buses so he should not use the family IIDs thus removing a dependency." These should be removed from the lot as originally suggested and replaced with just the single buses.
