The SC4 Devotion Forums are no longer active, but remain online in an archived, read-only "museum" state.  It is not possible for regular members to post or use the private messaging system, and no technical support will be provided for any issues pertaining to the forums in their current state.  Attachments (those that still work) are accessible without login.

The LEX has been replaced with SC4Evermore (SC4E), and SC4E maintains an active Discord server.  For traditional forums, we recommend Simtropolis.

I downloaded the colossus addon mod, and noticed that it did not install into the plugins folder, but rather, a folder named LEX_Downloads.
Is this normal, or should it be moved into plugins?

APSMS

If I remember correctly, the CAM is installed in your plugins under the folder named a_CAM. Is that file missing? Documentation is normally stored in the LEX_Downloads folder as it is ignored by the game and doesn't slow your computer down.

Also, make sure to delete the z_CAM folder as it is outdated and will override the NAM traffic simulator (which is better in every aspect) and make certain NAM components not work as well as they ought to. The CAM (traffic) simulator also slows down your game.

I suggest doing a search for all the threads on the CAM, including some very useful ones by RippleJet explaining what it does and why, in case it's new to you. If not, well, excuse my redundancy. /wrrd%&
