MAXIS Default Ground-Highway PROP data (zip) is attached in my post(link).

I trying to create some Tunnel-Lot. (Highway(Road) <-> Subway)
About a part of the Ground-Highway version,
I want to add a part of default-Ground Highway(orthogonal) in a Lot.(as follow pic)


Is it possible? ()what()
I did try to find S3D of this part in simcity_1.dat to ..._5.dat and Exemplar-files included them.
but I could not find them well in few days. &mmm

Do you have any advice?
Let me know IID of this or some works which using this technique if you know please. ;)

Hi! I don't have any knowledge on this, so in this matter I can't help you. But I do have a sugestion. How about you make a piece like that, or a set of them, that wouldnt be transit enabled but just overhanged pieces, and have the RMIP textures on top of it, so you could plop them and have a tunnel that goes under the airport structures carrying either roads or rails.
That would be awesome to have. And the model right here does look awesome for it..

relics: sure it's possible. The ID is 0xC0FFF514. You can find all IDs of network props in  z____NAM/z Props and Models/EL Network Props.dat file.

I'm sorry to didn't write details of my plan, I want to make LOT 2x1 - TransitEneble. ;)
and this model is a test-prop which made in few minuts ;D
It might be more detailed model if it uploaded. ;)

Yes!! It was succeeded with using a PROP including in NAM thanks to Magneto  ;) Great!
I like and satisfied for this result so much personally. :thumbsup:

However,
In this method, It can not used right my Lot without the NAM.
and PROP is different a little from Default-GHW in some shapes &mmm
(about a height of Road-barrier and more)

If it possible, I want to used my Lot for many users whom not using the NAM too. ;)
(of course, I love to use the NAM  ;D )


Please continue to give me some advice or help to my demand. ;)

You can reference this file as dependency instead, which is an older version of the file that's now in the NAM, but it contains the same ground highway prop. The difference is that the new version contains more props (which you don't require anyway).

Or, you could make your own prop using the correct s3d model (that is, 0x0A001504 from SimCity_1.dat) to overcome the barrier discrepancy.


Edit: If, however, the Lot is indeed intended to serve as a tunnel entrance, it would indeed make sense to create a Lot with an overhanging prop. As a side effect, you would save the trouble to properly transit-enable the Lot, such that it doesn't inadvertently impact the traffic flow.

But this is dependent with NAM's data, It can not used without NAM too. ;D
(Because Model-data are not included in it at all)

I'll learn, study and try to make PROPs from S3D.
I understand it is not easy ;D, in this case, I'll upload my work with NAM's PROP as you said. ;)

You could also look at the NDEX Old Post Office by Ardecila, which has the same type of ground highway tunnel that you're using, and does not require the NAM.

I could make PROP which I wantted thanks to you whom was give me some advice  :thumbsup:
Especially, I greatly appreciate MAGNETO to your big help for a PROPing  ;) :D
He gave me a permission to upload, so I attach a zip with them in this post.


MAXIS Ground Highway PROP - 8m and 16m
*It's not same PROP as the "Elevated Highway PROP"
*It can worked right without NAM
*It's compatible with Highway Road Retxture MOD (as NAM's one as well)



How to use PROPs on the Lot Editor
Please use them like pic as following. I don't know why they were displayed PROP rotated 180deg in LE  ()what()
Let me know a way to solve it if you know please. ;)
