In a city corrupted into urban decay and blight, Giordano Botanical Gardens is one of the few remaining glimpses into Gotham's once promising past. It is still maintained, however, thanks to funds from Gotham University's botanical department, where a certain woman is intent on preserving the garden's vast array of rare flowers and plant species.

Note: The garden's name is a tribute to Batman artist Dick Giordano.

bat: Thanks, bat.

kimcar: I like the scrolling marquee.  :)

oh yes the pretty poision episodes....that was a good backdrop on the beginnings of that villian....i love that your using the DC comics animated series for your storyline updates...i always loved that series they made during the mid 90s when i was a kid.....i actually have the 2-3 seasons b4 the animation got rather crappy.....keep up the good work eddie  i hope you do the heart of steel 2 parter when the cybertron AI machine, HARDAC duplicate clones of Batman and other figures and then fights against the real batman.....that was a really good 2 parter.  will be watching this MD more

The Botanical Garden is looking very nice! Beautiful pictures of it!
Looking forward to more...

Great work   Looks like I'm going to have to steal copy the Botanical Gardens and use it in one of my cities.

What BAT did you use for the greenhouse?  I've seen it in MDs before but never found it on the LEX or STEX.
You're telling me I get to be home for more than 12 months?

Eddie

Bruce Wayne recalls a single, defining detail that has everything fall into place.

Filasimo: Whoah, hey dude! Thanks for the comment, and glad you appreciate the genius of the Animated Series. I've been considering doing the HARDAC episodes, but the story's too "out there" and there's not much interesting city settings. I also don't want to introduce Barbara Gordon yet (I think Robin is enough). However, my favorite out of that trilogy was "His Silicon Soul." Good Terminator-esque stuff right there. By the way, I posted my picture at the picture thread in ST (one of the latest pages), so that's how a real pinoy looks like.  :P

bat: Thanks, bat.

Madeira: Why thank you!

meinhosen: Yeah, feel free to take any elements from the city-building. I owe you a lot anyway. I can't thank you enough for lotting Wayne Manor and giving me inspiration for my City Hall areas. :)

As for the greenhouse, it's one of my personal favorites. It's by ripptide (link below!):

Fantastic new update, Eddie! Great work!

Krio

This isn't MD anymore, because your updates are focused to show entire series clip by clip and not the Sim City.

Madeira aka Constantina

Wow, It's seems to be a comic strip. Life in and around Gotham City.

kimcar

 Here another marquee  ()stsfd()
&apls &apls &aplsI like to see what bat you gonna use for each part , and they fit just very well. Great work

Eddie

The real Pamela Isley.

pat: Thanks, have a great 2 weeks away from Gotham City.  :'( By the way, thanks for the Karma. I'd give you one back, but jeronij disabled mine.  :P

bat: Thanks, bat.

Bengt:  ::) Guess you didn't see the Botanical Gardens update...or the hospital...or Eyes in the Sky...or the industrial district showcase. I can keep going.  ::)

Madeira: Where'd you get THAT idea?  :P

kimcar: Marquees are very fun. Thanks for the comment.

Poison Ivy

Pamela Isley has always had a mysterious side. Hidden beneath this renowned and highly successful botanist's exterior is an eccentric and obsessive woman--the result of a trip to the Amazon which exposed her to an unknown type of tropical plant. She has since shown a remarkable immunity to toxins and has even discovered that every plant she touches begins to blossom and flourish. Driven mad by these new found gifts, Poison Ivy will let nothing stop her from seeking retribution against those who have committed the act of killing plantlife.

Next in Pretty Poison: The storyline concludes! Batman has just saved Poison Ivy's life! How could she ever repay him?

Emperor Stormont

Fantastic past few updates, I loved the Botanical Gardens, very very well done.

Love the newest update, such a unique MD concept and it works wonderfully.  &apls

hahahaha pare i also saw you left one on the show us pics of yourself thread and left you a lil comment or 2  :D that is true about the HARDAC miniseries it was mainly inside...... well Christmas with the joker would be a great update since the episode was when the Joker kidnapped all the officials and made it a game for the Batman to rescue him and made him go around the city ...one of my favorite episodes because of the ending hehe....
ouuu that reminds me the one with crime alley where Roland Daggett hires Mr Nitro to bomb the rundown buildings along crime alley its called appointment in crime alley. thats another favorite episode of mine and i was pissed at part of the ending if you remember what happens i hope ya consider making those episodes i mentioned into updates...theyre really good ones....
Ryan

PS for you star wars fans did you know that Mark Hamill, Luke Skywalker himself did the voice of the joker for Batman TAS? indeed he did and did one hell of a job voicing the joker in the animated series

The conclusion to Pretty Poison!

belfastuniguy: Glad you like it, belfast.  :)

Filasimo: Yeah, no need to summarize the episodes themselves. I've seen them all.  :P I've been considering doing Christmas With the Joker ever since I started, but it's just too hard to get over the fact that it was so cartoony. On the other hand, it had some GORGEOUS city locations. So if I'm ever to make the comic, the story would have little substance, but there would be lots of eye-candy. I'm torn.  :(

Same goes for Appointment In Crime Alley. I thought it was dragging, somewhat boring--it had some beautiful scenes though! Who knows. I might do Christmas or Appointment eventually. By the way, if you're curious here are all the episodes I've adapted:

On Leather Wings, Robin's Reckoning, Pretty Poison, It's Never Too Late, Two Face 1 and 2, Fear of Victory, Dreams in Darkness, Be a Clown, Joker's Favor, Vendetta, Heart of Ice, Terror in the Sky, Mad as a Hatter, Feat of Clay, If You're So Smart..., The Clock King, The Last Laugh, the Laughing Fish, and the Man Who Killed Batman. And right now, I'm currently working on the Demon's Quest.

But geez, typing all these out I've realized just how much I've accomplished already. We're just getting started!

And hell yeah, Mark Hammil ruled TAS. My favorite Joker incarnation (next is Jack Nicholson).

bat: Gracias, amigo.

Next in Gotham City: A new storyline will be introduced--It's Never Too Late.

Thundercry

This is great! I love how you mixed SimCity into the comic strip. Where do you get all thecomic strips? And why does she have green pupils?

Filasimo

hey pare yea i went through all the pages of what episodes you made and you had great choices.....despite christmas with the joker being cartooney ya gotta remember that when it comes to episodes to the joker some can be a bit cartooney in a way and as for appointment in crime alley it was sorta dragging but it did have some actions that detered Batman from locating Leslie so its a good ep imo....as for Demons Quest 2 parter thats going to be awesome i always loved the Raj Al Gul episodes for the winter months you should do one of the movies like Mask of the Phantasm or Subzero. anyways always looking forward to your updates pare didnt realize there was other pinoys who appreciate Batman TAS as i do hehe... keep it up!
