Metropolitan Curious Georgetown

And now, on to the show...

Today, we begin our tour of Curious Georgetown, the largest city on Monkey Island. Curious Georgetown is on the east coast, only a few miles from the excellent harbor at Primate Point. The downtown area is famous for its fabulous park lined avenues and exclusive homes and retail establishments. It also hosts offices of all well-known Monkey Island businesses. Approximately 15% of the entire population of Monkey Island is concentrated here.

Lets' see where our town begins today.


First, let's get off of the Monkey Island Expressway and get some lunch.


And perhaps a Vanilla Bean Monkaccino afterwards?


Or, if you prefer, a hand spun milkshake at Chick Fil-A? The most popular flavor in Curious Georgetown is obviously banana cream.

For this visit, I have reserved us some suites in the resort district, located south of downtown right off of the Banana Beltway. The Banana Beltway, in case you were wondering, is a raised highway loop around half of downtown. It also serves as a connector between the Monkey Island Expressway and the Plantain Parkway, which heads west across the island to Oranguntanville. There are a few luxurious places to stay, some of which are close to casinos and exotic nightlife destinations.


The first three commenters will be in the Primate Palace, shown at left above.


The next three commenters will be staying at the Yellow Hat Man Star Resort, featured above. They will also (the 4th, 5th, and 6th commenters) get comped up to 500 bananas at the Taj Monkal casino across the street.


Commenters #7-9 on this update will be staying at ultra-posh H. A. & Margret Rey Grande Gold Crowne Deluxe Resort, shown above.


Commenters #10 and 11 will enjoy a stay at the swanky Tropical Vines Hotel (at left) and commenter #12 will be enjoying deluxe accommodations at the Maxis Lodge at Curious Georgetown (at right).

As esteemed guests, there may be a few other perquisites thrown in to entice you to stay. And, as honored guests, your complete tab will be picked up by King C. George III, himself. That includes any excessive bar tabs you might run up at any of the hotel bars... I hear the banana infused martinis are outstanding. Oh, and the monkey coladas are great by the pool. And, don't even get me started on the sangria with Monkey Bay wine!

very nice city. i really like those ponds. so realistic. and hmmm...number 4...so that is...wait...where do we stay (the 4th, 5th, and 6th)? though i would like to try my luck at the casino $$$

Nice commercial areas, but I really like the way you've decorated the areas around the hotels. The ponds are especially interesting - they give the whole scene a storybook quality that I find very a-peeling! Love the BATs you've used, too - I'll enjoy a nice luxurious vacation in one of those fine hotels!
