The SC4 Devotion Forums are no longer active, but remain online in an archived, read-only "museum" state.  It is not possible for regular members to post or use the private messaging system, and no technical support will be provided for any issues pertaining to the forums in their current state.  Attachments (those that still work) are accessible without login.

The LEX has been replaced with SC4Evermore (SC4E), and SC4E maintains an active Discord server.  For traditional forums, we recommend Simtropolis.

B.A.T - melting forms together

Seems I forgot a few things.  If you do a custom LOD, how do you melt/bake several geometric forms together into one again?

It depends how they are made: for example, if you have made a box and want to connect it to a cylinder, then convert both objects to a mesh and click 'attach' under the 'edit geometry' rollout - there may be some messy geometry, but it is by far the easiest way and LODs don't need to be prefect as they have no uvw settings.,..
