I've just updated the Cleanitols For Free thread to change BSC_Essentials to BSC Essentials.dat. I didn't get the memo that the filename changed.

The link in my signature is to the Cleanitols For Free thread, where I've went through each CAMelot Starter Pack (except industrials... haven't gotten around to that one yet), and made Cleanitols for each and every dependency for all of the lots. It's a bit more comprehensive than the one attatched in this thread, including all of the model file dependencies from STEX and other sites.

Try using the Cleanitols in that thread and see if you don't have a lot less Brown Boxes,

Thanks!  I was just hunting down dependencies as the buildings/boxes grew in my city.  This should head things off.

patfirefghtr: The Iolite Spire is the 9th  building down the list, just scrowl down. Below the picture on the left is the name Iolite Spire and next to it is the word "download" . Hope this helps

EDIT: I have further learned that the site is asking you to download something but Firefox rejects it, but I've tried in IE and it still freezes.

I'm having the same issue. I can't download Iolite Spire and COBALTTOWER001 because the Japanese site causes the browser to stall. Are they available from anywhere else?

I found Iolite at: http://raika-s.hp.infoseek.co.jp/lot02.html, it's the third image down. Click on the link right above the image. I can't find the link to the COBALTTOWER001.

For the Cobalt Tower, isn't that made by Dusktrooper and available on the STEX?

For both these, and all other CAMeLots, always check CAMeLots - Linking all available lots and bats if you're missing a model.

Thanks for the cleanitol. However, it asks for bsc_essentials.dat, which I'm guessing has been changed to bsc essentials.dat (without the underscore), thus making a false missing dependency statement.

Yes, there are probably quite a number of Cleanitol files still pointing to bsc_essentials.dat.
It was an unfortunate mistake that the latest version of BSC Essentials got renamed without the underscore.

Thus, in all such cases, installing the latest BSC Essentials will always suffice.

If I read it correctly it says the website expired on 10/31/2010 - =( anywhere else to get these models?

Thanks to our Japanese friend Masuda-san, we do have Raika's permission to upload his creations here on the LEX.
Let me see what we can do to get at least the Iolite Spire and Crystal Mall models uploaded asap...

Btw, Raika's account name on the LEX is raikas.
Anything we upload for him will appear under that name.

RippleJet, that thread doesn't have the right link to Iolite. I think the Cobalt tower in question is different than Dusktrooper's because in the ReadMe file for that pack of buildings, the link went to the same Japanese site that Iolite was originally found in. I provided the link to the Iolite model in my previous post.

You will have to wait for me to get those models uploaded on the LEX for now.

Would you mind helping me by telling which lot in which pack refers to a Japanese Cobalt model?
Those starter packs were made by Barby, so I'm not 100% sure about what they contain.

Sure, it's the CAM Commercial Services BSC Starter Pack. Inside there are 6 .zip files, the one called "Install_CAM_CS$$$_13_BSC" has a ReadMe doc that points to http://raika-s.hp.infoseek.co.jp/ for both the "IoliteSpire" and "COBALTTOWER001" model files. Perhaps the ReadMe needs to be updated?

I think you missed the LEX description for that one...

There is an error in the CS$$$13 Readme. The link to DTCobalt is incorrect and should be http://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=3864
