Hola! Estoy apesadumbrado para escribir en inglés. &ops

Could somebody please take a look at this and help with translating GLR into Spanish?

Gracias! :)

jeronij

Literally means: "Tren ligero terrestre"

However, I never heard this in Spanish, so "Tranvía" (Tram) would be a more adjusted translation.

Another posibility would be "Tren Urbano" ( Urban Train)

Gracias, Jeronij!

Tranvía it will be ;)

Rayden

Nosotros en Portugal le llamamos "eléctrico", por supuesto. :P

We call it "eléctrico", just because it is an electric train ;) It only exists, I think, in two of our cities, Lisbon and OPorto.

Well there is a spanish site called tramvia.org.
It's in spanish or in catalan.

Maybe some one that is speaking spanish could check it out what it called there.

jeronij

Fukuda: Just as I thought. Have had a little of France, but no Spanish, so I was just guessing.

JPElx

In spanish please :thumbsup:, que me pierdo... &mmm jeje

Saluts! ;)

tranvia -> tramway
metro ligero -> lightrail

tren urbano -> urban train (más o menos todo el transporte de corta distancía, incluye tranvía, metro y cercanías)

Me gusta más tranvía porque el menu se lea un poco tonto si hay metro al lado de metro ligero.
