I played for years from disk on Win XP & 7, but those days are over.  Picked up the game on Steam & am looking to set it up properly.  I put in my customary launch options, CPU count 1, etc, & installed CAM 1.0, RTMT 3.5 plus the 3.6 addon.  Also applied the IHT fix to the Dat 1 file & the 4 GB patch to the game.  I will install NAM 46 next. That leaves about 25 custom buildings which I can probably just move over from the old (Win 7) plugins folder.  Is there anything else I forgot to consider?

CAM 1.0 is obsolete. There is CAM 2.0.1 and you can retrieve it here

CAM 2.0.1 already contains IHT Fix. Another thing you need to install is the wrapper and the guide you can retrieve here

If you want other compatible CAM mods you can follow this guide

Another important fix is SC4FIX.DLL

Thanks for the help.  I have run both CAM 1.0 & 2.01 & for some reason I did not like the latest version as well.  But I cannot remember why.  I added the SC4 fix.  IDT I need the wrapper.

Played for about 8 hours over the last couple of days with no crash, no stutter.  So it looks like I'm back in business.
