fantastic work LoneRanger.  That looks like a large tile, jam packed with lots of people.  How slow is this city.  I gave up playing large tiles.  &mmm

Thanks and sorry to hear you can't play large tiles.
It's actualy not that large and it doesn't take me to much loading time thanks to datpacker.  :thumbsup:
I did work on the city south of the screen but forgot to save and when I did things crashed.
Gonna do some work on the left side of the river and then some smaller cities to make the whole complete.  ()stsfd()
Though I think I keep dropping in that city till it hits some lvl 15 stages.  :)

Hi ya all,

Here is what I made in the past week. Since I've installed the CAM my goal was to see how big I could get a huge tile city with this marvellous mod. Serrapolis is my first megapolis to go over 1000k citizens. I have about 1/4 of the land open and can cram in 200-300k more citizens if I make it all HD-res. Here it is:

Here is my region now:



I don't know what went wrong with that big tile, i tried open-save-exit and its fine in city view.

The cities are in a similar order as last time and I have now included names



I havent included Earlnam, Endel, or Ferde, for various reasons
City 1: RANOL



This is my most developed city with over 600K.

And yes SlimShady i have the simoleon money cheat currently installed. Even with all taxes at .5% my city makes over 300k a moth profits... I just wanted to get on building, not worry about money. I do wonder if the city makes profit without it though...

I don't have the money cheat, but I use the Money Plant Pack by dstirling. It helps but I still go over budget.

I have a question, though: how come Stage 6 and 7 farms done by BLS are Forest Reserves?

Because thats what Stage 6+7 farms are supposed to be (though 7 is actually supposed to be landmarks)

When deciding how to use the CAM ability for farms we came to the conclusion that as farms do not upgrade like other RCI types we had to look at a different approach. We decided to make stage 4 and 5 farms hold more jobs, stage 6 be woodlands and stage 7 heritage sites like landmarks. This adds something a bit different to the gameplay and also makes sure that they do not grow too easily. You need a large industrial population to get stage 7 farms to grow.

and indeed, it gave more depth to the game....
as for me, i've only reached stage 6 IR.....

SlimShady: No money cheat just a very powerfull windmill and stronger waterpumps.
I use those two mainly because I'm to lazy to check if the city has sufficient water and power.
Since I use the fastest mode on many occasions it keeps me from abandoned building especialy in big[ger] cities.
You don't need a money cheat if you play on easy and get half a mil to spend.
Just ignore your advisours and spend money on ordinance when you actualy make money.  :satisfied:
With that city I posted I make about 130K per month.  :D

I wish I could tell you what is wrong... never seen anything like it before...
However, I would suspect that your graphics card is playing havoc with you...
