Help Needed

I have just copied my plugins folder onto a friends computer which i thought would of worked but now when he plays the game there seems to be props missing from the ingame buildings. none of the custom content seems to be affected.

Remembered to copy the plug-in folder in program folder ?

That sound like you are missing the buildings as props from the simcity.com homepage.

yeh copied both folders. thing is it doesn't happen on my own pc. will try your suggestion though. thanks

how do i take a screen shot and were do i find it in my pc so i can post a pic. have got the buildings as props files in the plugins folder but the problem is still there

for screen shot you can hit on your keyboard "print screen" or ctrl shift s and that will bring up the camera to take a pic...

here is a pic of the problem most noticable in industry but commercial and housing are affected too

My cities looked like that when I was missing the following files:
bldgprop_vol1.dat
bldgprop_vol2.dat

If you have them then make sure your friend has updated his game with the latest patch.

Try setting your "City Detail" settings to "High" and see if that helps.
